"This was our 4th or 5th year at this location. We do love it. The house layout works well. Nice open kitchen area with good sized table. The couches aren't super comfortable but work well for the kids to watch movies or play games on the large square coffee table. Full bath upstairs with half bath on main level are a plus. Large backyard area. The beach needed clean up and I did rake some; clean up crew came on day 2 and did a very good job on the beach. My suggestions for improvement include the following: An A/C unit in the south window of the front bedroom and a bigger capacity unit in the living room to handle main floor. This year was 90 temps and maybe a newer unit would be more economical overall. We do use fans to circulate air, close blinds and be sure doors stay closed. A deep cleaning inside at least once a year. Sometimes there isn't a lot of time between rentals and getting walls and window sills cannot be done each time. Clean up the landscaping. Trim up along creek. I realize that it is difficult to get right up to the creek when it's wet; however the extent of overgrowth indicates this not getting maintained. This is a home that I lived in as a child and we treat it like family. In closing, we loved our time here and will be back."
