"I loved it all. The river view, pool, bar, restaurant, service, and how kind and sweet everyone were. I loved the location, the peace and tranquility it brought to my life. Which was much need for an Emergency Room RN. When I arrived I was greeted my a wonderful young man, he was kind and very pleasant. This world needs more people like.him in it. My only regret is having to leave so soon. Thank you all for everything, I appreciate it so much!"

"Don’t give it another thought- book your stay at The Banks! I promise you won’t regret it! Beautiful property with no detail spared- Our family of four stayed at The Banks at the end of May for 3 nights and we wished we could have extended our stay. We stayed in a beautiful 3 bedroom villa on the river, the rooms were beautiful and spacious, very clean and we loved the outdoor showers. We also had our own plunge pool that was definitely larger than your average plunge pool. Humo, the restaurant onsite was delicious and had several options to choose from. We also visited the Sleeping Giant for dinner one evening and had wonderful pizza at Donatos. At The Banks we enjoyed kayaking down the Sibun River, riding bikes, and hiking. We rented a car from the BZE airport which I would highly recommend- this made it easy and convenient to take days trips- we visited St. Herman’s cave and did their tubing tour, the Blue Hole national park (amazing), Armenia (a local village nearby, we ate lunch at Hibiscus), and drove to the Mayan ruins- Xunantunich. Special thanks to Gianni- our amazing bartender-he went above and beyond, Jessica the manager- she was so sweet and always asked about our day, and Jair one of our servers. 10 out of 10 recommend The Banks- you will love it!"

"Perfect stay for 4 travellers for 2 nights. Wasn’t large or fancy but suited our needs for the short stay, especially when we spent the day exploring and didn’t need to stay in the room. The owner/manager was absolutely helpful."

"We felt like we were whisked away to China at Joyce Garden! Everything from the beautiful grounds, delicious dining at Green Pandan, to feeling safe and relaxed! Joyce and her family are very welcoming and kind! We can’t wait to go back!"

"Very clean and well equipped. We were on the third floor. The steps are quite steep and a little precarious for older folks. No elevator so forget bringing your suitcases up if you’re staying for just one night. But it’s a nice large well equipped apartment."

"We had a terrible experience. There was no hot water, the Wifi was so weak it barely worked. There was no television and last but not least NO hot water. Power outage happened about 5 times.. we went to the desk and literally everyone was gone from the hotel.. The lights to see down the triple staircase were out completely.. Also if a person wanted something to eat you were not getting that either.. ot a least a cocktail!! My husband and I agreed the property was beautiful but we are getting refunded for our stay, and we will never be back."

"We really enjoyed our two night stay. The staff was super accommodating whenever we asked for anything. The property is incredibly unique and really gives you the local, in the jungle vibe, but with a super nice room. Would happily come back."

"Absolutely loved this property! It's gorgeous and the staff is amazing! The rooms are spacious and honeymoon vibe. We went during the dry season which is the hottest so be prepared for the humidity and lots of stairs. If you are a light sleeper I recommend you being earplugs because the wild life dont care if youre sleep deprived. Food and drinks were so good and we definitely will be back!"
