Good location
Great parking in the underground garage. Hotel is lovely but the rooms could do with a bit of modernisation. Check your bill on departure as ours showed and extra charge which we queried. It was for breakfast which we didn’t have! £40 extra. It was taken off when we pointed it out without query. Great location and lovely outdoor seating with a view. I would stay again.

Bouillon get away
The area is nice with great motorcycle riding roads nearby. Parking was good, but expensive. Food was good but very expensive. Drinks were very expensive. Breakfast was ridiculously expensive, but with a good choice of nice things hot and cold. Speed limits when riding our motorcycles were confusing as Bouillon is so close to the French border we crossed regularly back and forth (no border signs). France and Belgium have different speed limits ! How unified (not !) Overall it was good if you're not on a tight budget. Been several times before, and will do so again.

Perfect central location along the Semois river for touring Bouillon by foot and easy access to all tourist attractions for a long weekend vacation.

Pleasant. Rooms and bathroom were very clean. Decor around reception/lobby created a nice ambience. I didn't like the bed - we got two singles next to each other - the foam sheet on top moved and getting good purchase was challenging.

I have stayed here many times with friends of Motorcylce trips, this time I was with my Wife (but still on a Motorcycle Trip) The Hotel is wonderful combining modern comforts with a timeless charm, I can imagine it did not look much different 50, or even 100 years ago. The location is excellent, right in the town centre and alongside the river, with the Castle just a short walk away. They have a secure car park which is very handy for me on my motorcycle travels.

The property is in a beautiful spot and dinner was magnificent, although not inexpensive. Everything is beautifully maintained and the staff is exceedingly helpful. Our room was already when we arrived ~3 hours before check in and we were allowed to go in (which was great as we were exhausted. Two very minor things that need to be considered. I believe its a historical in so changes are limited but the wood floors (which probably can not be changed) make a lot of noise when you want on them. They should figure out some way to reduce this. The second item which is probably my fault as I failed to specify with my reservation, I would have liked a double bed as the 2 single beds were just pushed together.

Hotel is nice with good restaurant and bar areas. Town is very nice, but many of the bars (and restaurants) closed early. Perhaps be different in high season Room was compact and a bit too warm, although heating was not on and outside temperature was not more than 14C, room was 20C+

Great location right next to the river. The hotel charge 13 euros to park in their garage but as the helpful girl on reception pointed out to me you can park just about anywhere in Bouillon for free. Apparently Napoléon III stayed here after his defeat at the battle of Sedan in the Franco Prussian war 1871. The castle in Bouillon is well worth a visit.

Not a too bad hotel. Didn't use their garage as that is £13 while you can park for free 3 minutes away. Room was a bit small and warm but for the rest everything was fine.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and paid the extra €13 for the parking on site. Wing chicken out we try to go down in the lift however they then said it was staff only in the left and we need to walk about 5 minutes outside in the pouring rain to get through to the entrance full stop we found this strange because we went up in the left have you been appointed there by member of staff however they said the we weren't allowed to use the lift and they don't know why we used it it's up to the hotel. We could have actually stayed closer to the hotel entrance for free and got less wet when running to the car with cases. Would not recommend wasting your money book in the garage space. Staff did not seem to care The hotel is in a nice area of town with good views over the Riverfront and the room was very comfortable

Fantastic location, cosy and welcoming hotel, very clean and good facilities (lift, fantastic restaurant, nice bar and space to sit outside). The parking is secure and located in the basement of the hotel. It was something of a heatwave so the rooms were a little hot, but the windows open so you can get a breeze. Definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful town, disappointing hotel
This hotel was overblown, overpriced and certainly not over-friendly. From the outside it looked like a grand fin-de-siecle building situated next to the river in an easily found location. Inside it was full of pseudo-gothic nonsense, was dark and unwelcoming, the reception staff were quite surly, and the waiting staff curt. Although there seemed to be a great selection at breakfast, in fact there was really very little, and far too much attention was paid to detail throughout, without observing the necessities. Although I had booked a double room, it was in fact a twin in a dark corner overlooking the back street, and for the price I paid it was outrageous.

The hotel is centrally placed and if you chose a room view a view there is a great view of the river and the castle. Our room was ok but a bit of a funny shape - relatively narrow but long ending by the window. I was very surprised the hotel does not provide bottled water in the room - the tap water does not taste very well as they use a lot of chlorine. Even so the hotel said there is no need for bottled water and that the tap water is good. Well, none of the restraurants in town serve tap water... The terrasse is excellent for a beer in the evening. The breakfast has a large choice but only one coffee machines - and the coffee was not very good....

Charmigt gammalt hotell.
Andra året vi bodde en natt här för att fortsätta mot Frankrike. Bra och charmigt hotell, i hjärtat av Bouillon. Gammalt och väl bevarat, med en fin matsal med utsikt över vattnet. Bra frukost, trevlig personal.

WC contre le mur difficile pour aller au toilette sauf pour un enfant... déjeuner a 19€ par personne ... mais il y a du choix... très petite salle de bain... parking payant 15€ par jour...très bonne literie... hôtel est beau mais ancien... personnel polies.... a 150€ la nuit... et pour les étoiles de l'hôtel a mon avis ils ont regardé le ciel de nuit....je n'irai plus...

Le parking de l'hôtel est payant , 15 euros , devrait être préciser dans la réservation. Les chambres proposées sur le site sont belles. Pas de chance,nous avons eu une chambre sous les toits en pleine canicule, pas digne d'un quatre étoiles. Pas de frigo , pas de climatisation , fenêtre simple vitrage , difficile de tenir avec ses températures extrêmes . Le petit déjeuner est irréprochable.
