Very nice property in general Staff is very nice and try to help as they can Roof top was amazing House keeping were excellent 👌 everything is tidy and clean and changed daily Bartenders were friendly and gave us recomndations for things to do Receptionists were professional The Manager Mr. Fadi was so kind and classy The beds were so comfortable.. maybe one of the best we have ever tried in a hotel 👌👌👌 Electricity 24 hours, calm neighborhood, air conditioning top notch .. Sea view rooms is recommended And you can try paragliding also because all the paragliding offices were next to the hotel.. Highly recommended .. We will come again for sure .. 👍

Worst experiience ever
AVOID! AVOID at all costs! I am an avid adventurer and I have been to many many RB and B's, rental properties, and hotels. I have, by a far stretch of the imagination, ever experienced and seen the ridiculousness and unprofessionalism of this hotel. I had made one additional reservation for my cousins to stay one night and had to call them over 8 times to comprehend this also they had taken an extra payment from me because they said my card was canceled-and I am still awaiting this money. Firstly, I want to mention that on our arrival we were immediately told that "we could not use their swimming facility because my sister wears a hijab" and this was said before anything else. When we asked why this was the case they mentioned: that "they were unsure and that it was policy." Instead, they indicated that we could swim at the nearby private beaches (which btw there is an entrance fee). When we got to our room we sat and tried to relax but were bombarded by at least 10 phone calls including how we liked the room, what our names were and if we were another person, that they made an error, that the room was to belong to someone else. Eventually, she stated that the room belonged to someone else, that they made an error, and wanted us to move. My sister then negotiated that they needed to provide something for all the stress we have already endured. Eventually, the so-called manager indicated to my sister that we would have a night free and free breakfast but instead of listeni

Dear Mrs Amal We are truly saddened to hear that your experience at the hotel was not per your expectation. We do try to go above and beyond for all our guests which can be seen in majority of our reviews equating to 95% satisfaction rate. We are sorry that there was a mishap with your reservation and we had to change your room. This was purely human error which should not happen, unfortunately you had the burden of it. We tried to rectify this making everything a little bit more comfortable for you stocking your fridge full with water completely complementary fruits and attending to your needs. It is true that you were informed at the reception that no burkinis were permitted at the pool when you inquired. We have previously had several issues related to hygiene with customers wearing burkinis and this is why we formed a policy that burkinis were not permitted it is not large pool and hygiene is an essential part of maintaining our pool. After we had heard that you had tried to enter several beach clubs and were denied as they also have the same no burkinis policy, you returned to the hotel obviously upset, and we rectified this by allowing you to spend a few hours at the pool breaking our policy. I am pleased to let you know that we after your distress we had a management meeting and we have now altered our policy and permit burkinis. As you know during high season we have a strict no cancellation/ no refund policy however when you informed us you would like one night to be returned we did this with no questions asked. All the refunds have been made. Once again we are sorry that you encountered these issues. We always try to please our customers in the best way possible and we are disappointed we could not do this with your stay. We wish you all the best on your next adventures . Loved Beirut and this was a cute hotel with a lot of charm. The rooftop pool is a great place to relax when you come in from sightseeing. The staff is very helpful and there is an iconic local restaurant a 5 minute walk away.

Princessa was a beautiful hotel in Jounieh. Close to the beach, nice restaurants and some of the main attractions. The hotel breakfast was really good and the overall service was quite pleasant with great amenities provided throughout the hotel. The wifi probably was the only thing that was the most frustrating as it kept coming in and out of reception. I think this maybe a problem throughout the whole country. Other than that we were quite pleased and would stay again!

Unable to fault this hotel Ideally located in Jounieh, about 30 minutes by car from Central Beirut. Outstanding staff; nothing was too much trouble. Nice Bar and Restaurant; good breakfast with good choices of Arabic or European food. Very close to the sea; good views from the rooms at the front of the hotel. Would certainly stay again.

Excellent hotel, staff and location!
Wonderful hotel with wonderful staff! The rooms were kept very clean and the bed was really comfortable. The daily breakfast spread was delicious and the room service was reasonably priced with great tasting food! Also loved the rooftop pool/bar! Had music playing and served drinks, food and hookah to guests. Area was very clean and neat and the hotel staff was great! Location was close to beach and the Telefrique that can take you to top of mountain to Harissa. Lovely location, overall. Close to everything. Even a $20 cab ride to Byblos for a day or two of exploring.

Repeated Stay for Vacation
This is my third time staying at Princessa Hotel. For this vacation, I actually moved my vacation one day to fit the availability of the hotel. While I chose a different style of room for this stay, I had another wonderful experience. The staff (from reception, housekeeping, room service, restaurant) are all friendly and helpful with my requests, for extra towels to calling a local restaurant for delivery (which they transfer to your room after connected,which is great because you do not wait on the phone ringing and answering taking a while) which a waiter even brings this outside order to your room. I also was very pleased with the rooftop infinity pool / bar, which was closed my previous stays, overlooking the sea on one side and mountains on the other. So, the downside to the stay is that the pool is only open until 5pm (although the staff said we could stay a little longer if we wished), power flickers (not hotel fault, but power grid) can be inconvenient (while in shower, but water still runs), internet strength in some rooms fluctuate while on the balcony (away from the door).

Excellent staff, great central location.
I have stayed at this hotel once before and came back because of the great value for money, professional staff and the central location. I wasn't disappointed on this occasion either and was delighted there is now a roof top pool aswell which is a new addition. You bet some breathtaking views of the bay at sunset!! I will be back :)

Clean and Friendly Hotel Close to Jounieh
A nice four star hotel that's really more of a three star experience. The rooms are clean and neat, but are pretty basic. I like having a refrigerator, but not one that is so full of expensive bar items that the door can barely be closed. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are quite modern. The bathrooms are well appointed and the cable TV includes several English speaking channels. They really shouldn't advertise Wifi in the rooms as it's basically non-existent. It would come and go, (mostly go) but there was no consistent connection. When I told the front desk they used the excuse that Internet is slow in Lebanon. I get that, but having basically no connection at all means there's a problem with their equipment. I did enjoy the rooftop pool, and the bartender there is quite nice. I might come back if they can improve the Wifi.

Perfect stay
The hotel was fantastic. I need to return to lebanon in summer and i am already looking at this hotel to book. I cant wait to use the pool in the summer!!

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort
I stayed in the hotel for two days, i choose the romantic room , over all , i thought in the first it was good choice , but after that , i figure out the restaurant close at 9 o'clock , the next day i asked for the room service to clean the room , I shocked when i saw the cleaning lady clean the cup in the bathroom. i will never advise any one to stay at this hotel.

Great hotel with amazing pool
Great hotel with an amazing infinity swimming pool overlooking the sea from the front the mountains in the back. The hotel was very clean, the staff extremely friendly. Absolutely flawless, I highly recommend this hotel and will be returning. The restaurant has some amazing food, everything I ordered tasted great

The description did not fit the reality. No SPA no private beach. It was ok in general. The breakfast was good.

Great hotel with great views
I had a sea view room, modernity decorated, spotlessly clean. 1 min walk to the sea. All staff were friendly and extremely helpful!

Not impressed at all.
We were taking by the excellent reviews however i m rather puzzled at them . I allways use 4 start hotels when i travel and can not see this hotel any where near that . I would rate it 3 star only no more .First night was noisy as they had a night with dj . I had to complain twice . The room was very good because of the size the location.it had a fabulous view which is a credit. The furniture were bit out if date but they do the job. The cleaning level was not that great as my wife noticed few hairs on the bed and pillows. Which is really below any basic hygiene level. The restaurant was awful. Tables were not clean in the morning and another family complained about that as well.This was an ongoing thing over our stay .Some cutleries were missing but that was not the worest. We ordered some food ine day and they deliver the worest dishes we ever seen. My one was burned and my wife one was very dry and tasteless. I took some pictures but this site does not have the facility to upload them .We complained and we got the manager to say sorry and that was it . I was very disappointed to see my bill was full regardless of the horrible food and neglecting our complaints. These people had no basic understanding of what customer service means or any real courtesy. Short term money gain is their goal only . In other words they dont work or have a view to make you come back again .

Dear Mr Hani. Thank you for your concern regarding our Hotel. We thrive to provide comfort and value for our guests and this is clearly shown in the excellent reviews and rating and our continuity. With reference to your complains, we host different events at Princessa Hotel during the year however, our events end at 12.00 AM according to local legal law. Regarding the housekeeping issue, each room gets inspected thoroughly an hour before our guests check in. However, we have investigated your compliant and nothing has surfaced to merit these accusations. As for the statement regarding the good, we have passed it on to the F&B manager and we will make sure that this does not happen again.
