"Nice hotel, room well equipped, breakfast service was slow and only one cereal available, if you love spiders theres a big one in its web in the velxlux window above the stairs that lead up to the rooms. Other than that good value for £70 a night bnb but not great when saturday prices are £167 bnb on a Saturday night. Down side to was reception didnt open until 10 am on a Saturday even though sign said 9am. Would feel better if receotion was maned 24/7"

"We stayed the this property for one night and was not disappointed. From the minute we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff who showed us to our gorgeous room for the night. The interior decor of the room was beautifully thought through and fet cosy and homely. We were provided with a selection of coffee pods to use on with the coffee machine, whilst also having milk and a bottle of water available in the fridge. "Stayed here overnight after visiting family in Derby , check in and out easy, friendly reception staff. Very clean accomodation , tea, coffee etc, bath with overhead shower, good thick towels the room was quiet cheap overnight at £43 pub/restaurant on site for breakfast and meals, mcdonalds 2 mins walk away. Good very clean comfortable good stay. "

"It was a great place to stay, having the pub next door was a great bonus. We were greeted with great politeness and everything explained. The room was massive, Queen size bed nice comfortable. The breakfast was great value for the price, full English, cereal tea/coffee, juice and plenty of toast. So all in all i would recommend. "

"We've stayed before - same problem as last time. It was cold and the heating was only put on after some persistence from us. The staff here do not have control of the heating so it is hard for them to respond to a reasonable request for warmth"

"The hotel makes best use of it’s facilities. Every member of staff I came across was cheerful and helpful. The room was clean and had all I required. It was value for money. The decor was tired but everything worked. My only problem was that I am handicapped and the liquid soap was out of my reach when I wanted a bath.."

"Superb place to stay if you’re going to Rock City. It’s literally next door. Great staff and a little shop of sorts selling snacks and juices to take to your room. A mean to cup coffee machine and pastry in the morning is a great touch. "

"A very pleasing alternative to a hotel room. My apartment was clean and tidy and perfectly situated for my visit. Lots of rowdy venues nearby but the apartment was just far enough away to stop this from being intrusive. One minor observation. I was surprised to find a socket for a round pin plug but no USB port.
