No longer worth the price.

Posted 10-Sep-2014
Pros: Location. Staff.
Cons: Maintenance and a thorough jet-washing of the external facades.
Location: Luton Airport. The M1.
We first stayed at this hotel shortly after it opened and were very impressed. Since then, we have over-nighted there before flying out of Luton when we have fancied something more than the usual airport hotel experience. Unfortunately, this latest visit will be our last as the gap between what it offers when compared with budget hotels no longer justifies the cost; it simply isn't worth two Premier Inns any more. Externally, the appearance of the building is becoming stained and dirty and the run-down feeling extends to the rooms where nothing is quite as one might hope. The staff remain attentive and helpful but the fabric of the building is beginning to show signs of wear and tear. ...and the "make your own waffles" facility has been removed at breakfast, Unforgiveable!

Good hotel for the airport

Posted 02-Sep-2014
We needed a hotel for the airport at fairly short notice so booked this one at a reasonable price . It was about half an hour's drive ( Sunday afternoon) from where we live in NW London, to the hotel which is in the northern part of Luton (not in the centre or at the airport). Quick check-in and out with pleasant staff. Room large and spotlessly clean. Separate ( very large) shower and bath, with good complimentary toiletries. Went out to eat with family. Had a good night's sleep in comfy bed and then left early for the airport so didn't have breakfast either so can't comment on the restaurant or bar facilities. Took less than 10 minutes to drive to the mid-stay parking at the airport. Would stay there again.

Lovely comfortable hotel close to Luton Airport.

Posted 26-Aug-2014
Pros: I liked the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel.
Cons: As far as I am concerned everything was fine.
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to my family and friends because everything was perfect, from the moment we arrived until we left the hotel. The staff were welcoming, the bedroom and bathroom were immaculate and breakfast was just amazing with so much to choose from! We've had a wonderful experience at the Hilton Garden Inn North Luton Hotel and will stay there whenever we visit Luton again.

Tired-looking exterior but nice inside

Posted 22-Aug-2014
Pros: Impressive entrance foyer, comfortable rooms, excellent restaurant, parking no problem. Also, I got my 3 nights at a really good rate!
Cons: A larger area for the breakfast buffet would help. At busy times in the morning there's a lot of people trying to get at the same foods.
Location: A few miles outside Luton but convenient for the town and the airport. Imperial War Museum at Duxford is within easy reach.
I spent 3 nights here recently because it was not too far from Milton Keynes and very close to Luton Airport. If you can get a special offer on the rates this is an excellent choice of hotel. I thought the interior is much better than the exterior would suggest. The roomy foyer leads on to the restaurant. I decided to eat there in the evenings because I'm not familiar with the area so didn't want to have to go looking for another restaurant. I found the meals to be excellent although the wine was a bit pricey. My room itself was of a high standard and very comfortable so no issues there.

A nice hotel to for business travellers

Posted 13-Aug-2014
Pros: The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was large, modern, comfortable and clean.
Cons: Extend the restaurant and room service hours.
Location: The location is on the outskirts of Luton. It is not as close to Luton Airport as other hotels, so, give yourself extra time to get to the airport.
The hotel is new and is a good business hotel for those flying out of Luton on an early morning flight. Reasonable price. Nice restaurant and bar. Very nice, friendly, efficient staff.

Great value for a 1 night stay

Posted 30-Jul-2014
Pros: Convenience of its location for our visits to Luton, Hitchin and Stevenage. Quality of accommodation and good standard of service.
Cons: Standard of the evening meal was disappointing. My fish was dry and overcooked. Very limited choice of desserts.
Location: This was a family visit so didn't explore things to do nearby
Booked this hotel overnight for myself and elderly parents who were visiting a relative . Rooms were a good size and had all we needed for a 1 night stay. Slept really well. VERY comfortable bed and pillow and no noise. Big walk in shower and good quality toiletries. All members of staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. A problem with the TV remote was quickly resolved and no charge for calls made from room when I mentioned there was no Vodaphone signal to enable use of my mobile.

Ok But.....

Posted 15-Jul-2014
Had to move room at 1.30 am due to dripping air condition unit onto carpet. Noisy air conditioning. Loose floor tile in bathroom that rocked when stood on due to broken grouting. 2nd room ....bath partly filled with water when taking a shower. Generally disappointed! Staff apologetic but not concerned. Told that as we booked with Experion we would have to complain to them! On morning of leaving we had complimentary tea / coffee and snack due to discression of desk staff which was appreciated.

Great airport hotel

Posted 08-Jul-2014
Pros: Modern and spacious and better than most of your typical airport hotels - third time I have used it.
Cons: Nothing springs to mind
Location: Only used for airport purposes so didn't explore Luton or surrounding area!

Uncomfy beds & eggy smell

Posted 07-Jul-2014
The beds are meant to be adjustable to your comfort however it felt like we were sinking into the mattress and there was no support for your back. I had turned the support to maximum firm but still no change. We had a bad nights sleep due to this and the terrible eggy smell radiating from the bathroom...not sure what it was but it filled the room which was rather unpleasant obviously. Overall feelings were negative due to comfort of beds but I must say the staff were very helpful and friendly. Shame about the beds and egg smell!! :(
