Uncomfortable bed

Posted 24-Jan-2015
I booked 2 rooms which were well equipped and clean. We had a good night sleep in our room but my daughter and her partner had a terrible nights sleep saying their bed was very uncomfortable. There was a comfort dial on the mattress which seemed to make no difference and they both got up the next morning with sore and aching backs. We complained and they said we were entitled to a refund under their guarantee however they could not do this as we booked through Expedia so now we need to claim via them. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty and the staff were friendly and accommodating. They allowed us an early check in as we were attending a wedding locally.

Nice hotel, shame about the bed!

Posted 08-Jan-2015
Pros: The shower
Cons: The bed!!
Location: Good location for visiting family and friends locally
Staff were pleasant and placed us in a room far away from a noisy Christmas party. The room was good with the best shower I've had over a bath. The bed was very uncomfortable. A real 'roll together' experience making for a somewhat sleepless night. Breakfast was fine although I do prefer having a pot of tea instead of a bag in a mug! Can't tea pots be provided as an option please?

Dirty room!

Posted 07-Jan-2015
When we arrived at the hotel, there were black marks (looked like tyre marks) all over the bed sheets and lots of little curly hairs in the bath. Made me feel physically sick. Will never stay here again, if this is the state of the rooms - imagine the kitchens where food is prepared! No thank you.

Very Pleasant Stay

Posted 06-Jan-2015
Pros: Wifi, Comfort, Parking space
Cons: Quality of food (we ate from the bar-menu) It appeared to me the food was not really fresh, onion rings were greasy, pizza too cheesy with a soft base
Location: We only stayed over to stay the night, to prevent a long drive to Lincolnshire, during the night.
To make sure our Sunday would not be ruined because of exhaustion, we booked a night at the Hilton Garden Inn Luton North. We arrived fairly late in the evening (10pm) because of a delay at the airport. Fortunately we were still abele to eat something. Coming in our room (nice & tidy), the 2 double beds were ready. The bathroom was clean and large enough to have a decent shower (the water flow & temp. were very good). We appreciated the free wifi in the whole establishment as well. The price was very interesting. We will not hesitate to return.

Very very expensive

Posted 05-Jan-2015
Pros: Cleanliness, location
Cons: Rates
Location: Location was nice. It was quiet and not far from the city.
Hotel was good in cleanliness and comfort. But we bought 1 litre of water bottle for ten pounds. Which I believe is very expensive. I think because of this I will not come again and neither will I recommend to my friends.

Midweek

Posted 04-Jan-2015
Hotel is netjes.
