"We had a great holiday, started with Andrew showing us to the log cabin to give us a quick run down of the lodge and supporting documentation, which we found really useful. Andrew then left stating if we needed any help with anything do not hesitate to call. The lodge was the cleanest and best equipped that we have ever stayed in, everything has been thought of. "We stayed at the Buttercups Lodge. It was a very comfortable stay and also very serene and peaceful. The location of the lodge is ideal for a family or couple who want to go exploring different parts of Devon and also a drive to Cornwall. "Absolutely gob-smacked when we arrived at the Barnstaple Hotel, it was fantastic and totally unexpected. Staff were lovely, ambience great and it was just so welcoming. It was a fairly last minute booking, a one night stay and I hadn't really taken much notice of reviews etc. Great regret that I hadn't packed my swim-wear as the pools looked so enticing. Our room was so comfortable, such a shame that we couldn't spend longer there. Couldn't fault the hotel at all and we will definitely make a point of returning to Barnstaple and spending a few days at the Barnstaple Hotel, it was a holiday in itself."
