"Nice stay in a small town. We had our dog, so that was one of the factors driving the hotel choice. The staff was nice, breakfast was good. We ended up leaving later in the evening before morning checkout because we wanted to get home earlier. The front desk lady was genuinely concerned about why we wanted to leave (in case there was an issue). I assured her there wasn't any other issue other than wanted to get home early. I thought that was a nice concern."

"Everything was great except the TV. About 8 different channels did not work including the major networks except Fox. It appears to be a new property. Breakfast was good but no one ever wiped off tables."

"Our stay was wonderful!! Kathy is an amazing host!! She truly goes above and beyond!!! I was a little nervous about staying in a duplex with the owner so close because several people from my family also stayed and I didn’t want to worry about noise, and a super late arrival time, but Kathy truly could not have been more gracious or welcoming! The house was fully stocked with everything you need if you plan to cook/bake (I even made a wedding cake)! The lake is beautiful! The house is maintained well and Kathy added many little welcoming touches! Truly, she is the BEST VRBO host!!We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family!"

"Spacious accommodations for large group in area for weekend golf tournament. Open concept kitchen, dining and living room worked great for meal making, eating and socializing.Bedrooms large and bedding hotel quality. Bathrooms also large and well-appointed.Long driveway accommodated 8 autos and trucks with room to spare.Weather limited ability to fully appreciate outdoor areas, but patio area and fire pit would have been social centers under better conditions.Highly recommend this host and property."

"This home in Beaver Dam was clean, comfortable and worked well for our extended stay. Inside spaces were large and well appointed. Great view of the lake. We enjoyed many lovely sunsets and even took in performances by the area waterski team while we sat around the fire pit. The host was extremely welcoming and responsive - quick to answer any questions or deal with any issues. There was significant road construction on the street the property is located on during our stay which made coming and going very challenging, but we managed without any major problems. Access to the property will be great once the project is complete, however, and should not be an issue in the future. The home has clearly gone through major updating and thought has been given to finishing touches, high end appliances, etc. We also appreciated the comfortable beds! Overall, a very good stay."
