The location of the apartment is relatively good, being walking distance to amenities such as supermarket and attractions. The apartment is quite spacious and airy with high ceiling, hence ventilation is good. Even though an old apartment, the condition was pretty good. It comfortably accommodates 5 adults, having one bedroom with a double bed and a large living room with 3 sofa beds. Bedding were quite comfortable and the kitchen was also quite well equipped. However, our stay did not start too well. When we arrived, the taxi could not bring us to the entrance of the apartment as both sides of the drive way was fully parked with cars, hence only very small cars could get through. We had to drag our luggage in the rain. The key storage was unsheltered hence I had to struggle to get the keys out in the rain with one hand while trying to balance the umbrella in the other in an uncomfortable squatting position. The entrance hallway was dimly lit and dirty with waste paper strewn all over the floor. The door rug also looked filthy. Fortunately the apartment interior was of better condition. We do appreciate the fact that the apartments practises waste sorting. It was great that such historical apartment was well conserved. It would be good that housekeeping could be improved as some lights were also not working. Otherwise the stay was quite comfortable.
