"The desk clerks at the hotel were excellent particularly Alex who did whatever she could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We also enjoyed the food and the service in the dining room. We were very disappointed to find that there was no fridge in the room--the only hotel of the 11 on our trip. We could store things in their fridge but that is not the same. "I went cheap since I only stayed in Bastia for a night…too cheap. The “room” is a closet with a bathroom. There is barely space to put the luggage down and open it. The shower was so small that I couldn’t spread my elbows while washing my hair. AND the room is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. There are not many noticeable restaurants close to the hotel, so guests need to rely more on the hotel restaurant, which serve passable food. I will definitely invest a bit more for a better hotel next...
