Impressive sound proofed rooms... Didn't hear any of the lorries in this very busy area. Friendly staff, confortable bed. Large shower room. Great value

This is functionally fine and a good price but the room was very dark with minimal lighting and very basic-a shelf for a desk and a plastic chair.

As others have said, it’s a truck stop, so the facilities are plain and simple. The restaurant is good with a pleasant atmosphere and nice staff - it’s been popular with the locals for years. You get clean one towel per guest daily. Pillows (one each) can be lumpy, but mattress comfortable. No hairdryer. No toileries other than soap dispenser. There’s a small desk and chair in the room. The facilities are basic but adequate if, like us, you need a cheap place to stay for a few days.

This hotel is a truck stop area, it’s very basic, very hard to know how to book in, ge5 a meal etc. Staff are helpful and room was clean with double bed and bathroom. We had air conditioning and tv in the room. Had to ask for WiFi. Restaurant at the hotel and you can get a buffet meal at a reasonable price. If you don’t mind basic accommodation it’s just off the N10 easy to get to and get back onto the road again.

it is what it is and it was a sensible/convenient
Look - it is what it is. It is a massive lorry park with a service station and a hotel, on the N10 but next to all the best bits of the Cognac area - so hugely convenient. All the truckers sleep in their trucks and you sleep in the adequate rooms. Best of all, there is food in the cafeteria/restaurant at all hours so you never need to worry about getting something to eat. I watched the France-Australia rugby match one evening - can't complain. This is not 5 star but it works.

Overnight pit stop. Very basic facilities and somewhat put off as it was a truck stop hotel.

2nd visit
Nasty soiled bed counterpane this visit, otherwise interesting as ever to experience this mainly huge truck stop. Room heating controls didn`t work, but some remote thermostat or overall control cut in eventually, good job it wasn`t too cold in the meantime! Overall good value, especially the price of diesel.

Truck Stop
This is mostly a massive truck stop, not at all what we were expecting for the price. Strong smell of greasy/oil cooked food everywhere.(Not Les Routiers standard by some way) But the diesel price was the best we found in France

Very uncomfortable beds, very very small room.
This hotel is for lorry drivers!!! When we arrived there must have been at least 50 lorries parked. Nice people in the bar and the food was good.

Nicht zu empfehlen wenn sich nichts ändert.
Zimmer mittelmäßig. Duschkopf defekt. Bei Tagestemperaturen lässt der Chef die Klimaanlage aus. Also warm und muffig im Zimmer. Da das Hotel auf einem LKW Platz steht, kann man in der Nacht die Fenster nicht öffnen (viel zu laut). Kopfkissen schlecht. Matratzen mittelmäßig. Beim einchecken ist das Personal unaufmerksam. Man wartet unnötig und wird nicht beachtet. Preis/Leistung mangelhaft. War früher besser. Schade.

Satisfaisant pour 1 nuit
Séjour agréable malgré qu'un chauffeur PL d'un camion frigorifique est venu stationner sous ma fenêtre à 5h du matin ! L'accès Wifi a été compliqué , voir impossible ( pas de réseau ) Il serait appréciable de notifier aux clients de ne pas discuter dans les couloirs et respecter le sommeil des voisins !

Escale à Barbezieux
Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce centre routier et mangé sur place dans le restaurant et tout était parfait, les prix et la qualité. Lors d'un prochain transit dans ce coin je n'hésiterai pas à réserver.

A faire mieux.
Accès extérieur aux escaliers pour les chambres non éclairés , Réservé sur le site mais l'hôtel ne l'avait pas !!!! Literie correct mais petite chambre a l'ancienne avec les clés de serrure... Une borne de paiement 24/24 et Un système de carte d'acces serait mieux👍
