The staff was excellent especially the young lady at the front desk, I did not remember her name, but she was especially helpful. The room and food were great. The complimentary massage was excellent and very relaxing. I will definitely return.

A perfect ending to a Caribbean holiday! Sweetfield Manor is elegant and relaxed at the same time. The staff were so gracious and friendly; we felt as though they had been eagerly awaiting our arrival!

Sweetfield Manor is so charming! Spotless property, friendly team members, yummy restaurant, spa cabanas are beautiful. The pool is unique and a hidden little gem. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beds are very comfy. The grounds are so beautiful. What a perfect place for an intimate wedding. Love that checkout is at 12 so we could enjoy the outdoor space longer. As we were reading on the patio, a couple dozen peacocks came wandering towards us and hung out casually. Beautiful! Even a trio of monkeys stopped by. We highly recommend Sweetfield manor!

The day we arrived they were having a party in the courtyard, and it appeared to be a couple of hundred people. We asked when it would be over, and we understood 4 or 5 pm, however it was not over until near 9 pm. When we asked Management for some kind of consideration, they were non agreeable. Beautiful property, but be ware of party’s. None of the party members were guest.

Absolutely loved our stay at Sweetfield Manor! We stayed in the Captain's Quarters, the room was immaculate, bed and pillows were very comfortable, which made it hard to leave. Loved the decor in room and bathroom. Staff were amazing, couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was always super tasty! The peacocks roaming around were an added bonus! Loved the spa facilities too. All in all I can't fault our stay at Sweetfield! Would recommend

I love the old Victorian syle...and the quaint cozy feel....the staff was very attentive. But there was cockroaches all around the pool area and a rat was spotted in the dining area

Was a great place to stay the room was fantastic I had the peacock room.And there was a shop nearby for drinks and snacks.The staff were great and I strolled to Bridgetown and back would definitely recommend to anyone.

The room was amazing..i was in peacock. The staff were kind and very helpful. I also loved the pool. The peacocks were an added bonus..though they do make noise at night( but i was told it was because it was mating season). I would definitely revisit...

Slept terribly. The room I stayed in must have been above a type of generator because the noise was loud throughout the night, add on a peacock in the back area calling every 2 minutes the whole night, I was luckily to get any sleep at all. Booked this hotel because of its supposed proximity to the US Embassy with Google maps showing a 6 minute distance, which turned out to be 15 minutes.

Dear TatianaWe are sorry to learn about your experienced while staying with us. At present it is the mating season for the peacocks so they can get rather loud. The Embassy is 6 mins away normally, but perhaps you travelled during peak traffic it is possible to take the 15 mins.

One should be aware that no dinner is available at the hotel from Saturday through Monday — the restaurant is closed. Unless you have a car, there are no cafes or groceries accessible nearby, and no snack machine in the hotel either. On top of that, it is not safe to walk on foot after the sun is down, which is around 6:30 pm. Yet, the hotel's staff is not there for you.

Our pre-welcome letter, confirmation letter when booked as well as the arrival letter does advise of our operating hours for both the reception and the restaurant, as well as we have it displayed at the reception desk so that persons are aware. As a small property of just 10 rooms you will experience a limitation of some of our services.

Sweetfield Manor is special. It is located in an historic part of the city, away from downtown but still a part of it. It sits on two acres and is home to a bevy of peacocks and other wildlife. The landscaping is a crucial part of of the beautiful display. The Pavão restaurant has a very diverse menu - I did not eat the same thing twice. The hotel and restaurant staff are friendly and very accommodating. They listened to my concerns and handled things quickly. I’ve read other reviews and took those into account. But I found my impression to be most important; I love this place and would gladly return for my next trip.
