The pictures look MUCH better than the property. For the rate I paid, I could've got much better. The pool chairs are all sunk in and worn out. The room was very shabby. It was overall very shabby. The pictures were probably taken when the property first opened if that was 10 years ago

The view is spectacular and you could throw a rock off the balcony and hit the Caribbean Sea, however, there is very little close to this hotel. You require a arranging a taxi or walking to Oistins is an hour. The hotel bar restaurant hours are limited and monopolized price wise. Had to beg them for a bagel between lunch and dinner hours as the kitchen was closed all afternoon.

The hotel rooms are clean. Bathroom had no bathmat or anti slip in the shower. room had a fridge but no bottle water that you could purchase, there was a coffee machine but you had to go out and buy coffee or use the kettle with coffee they provided. breakfast was good and staff very pleasant and helpful. first room AC die not work moved to second room safe to store documents available. no elevator.

The place was very nice. I've read other reviews saying the contrary but I found a very pleasant place with a beautiful room and incredible shower. The staff were awesome and the food was excellent. I will definitely stay here again.

Overall the site and suites were not only breathtaking but the distance to the beach was easily accessible. The downside was the shower and food service commenced at 8:30am which force one to start the day late!

Orbitz should refund the money we paid. It is in such terrible condition that we had to book another hotel through orbitz halfway through our trip This hotel should NEVER be offered by orbitz as it is falling apart. Most rooms are inhabitable and balconies are broken Please REMOVE from ORBITZ IMMEDIATELY

Property is somewhat updated. Room A/C is weak and no ac vents in bathroom is a big negative. Hotel felt very isolated, perhaps because of lack of guests. But still felt safe, as there is 24 hour security. Location is decent. Staff is very helpful and welcoming.

Silver Point is a step away from all the busy resort areas. Which, if you rent a car and enjoy the peace is wonderful! It is clearly undergoing extensive renovations, but the hosts were very friendly and the locations secure while feeling very private. Mind you we were there in July - off season. The oceanfront studios are amazing - the roar of the waves on the short limestone cliffs will lull you to sleep and the view of next door beach by day and the ocean by night is stunning with all the stars out - being away from the city you could see them so well! The location means there is always a full sea breeze with waving palms to cool you. The beach next door is used by a few locals, is not really a swimming or snorkeling beach (though I was tempted! Saw sea turtles surface far out from the hotel from our awesome room - 123! Best view in the place! What the beach is famous for is the world-famous wind surfer and particularly kite surfer who teaches classes there. Amazing to watch! The showers were spacious with a lovely rain head, and the room light and airy - always the sound of doves cooing all around. Note - if you need accessibility, they do not have an elevator. You must walk stairs to get to the rooms in the front portion of this hotel. Lovely sunbeds and a small sparkling swimming pool with a bar beside it are there to enjoy by day and night. This may not be a fancy resort, but more a calm hide-away for people wanting to relax or explore. I miss out room SO much!!!!!!!

I liked the sound of the ocean from my room. I checked in late (after 11:00pm) and was met by a sleepy guard who checked me in at the Guard hut (he was inisde and I outside) because the Hotel Receoption Staff had finished work at 9pm! I was not pleased. There was no ironing board or iron and washcloths in the room. I checked out the next morning early by a security guard again who just took my key, no receipt or checkout paper. Shrug...

Our flight is 5 in the morning, so I woke up very early to do the checking out , but found out the security guard was sleeping the whole time, luckily nothing bad happened to us and the taxi driver got us to the airport in time . We mad about the fact the security guard was sleeping , any one can sneak in the hotel with no problems , very disappointed and sucked so much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PROS: I’m torn about this property only bc the check in process was awesome by Kim. The staff from the security guards, bartenders and cleaning staff was awesome. The location of the hotel was literally on a sea wall next to a beach and a handful of local minimarts and sit down eateries located down the street. the rooms had sinks, a refridge and AC. Maids cleaned up anytime you summoned for it. Free beach towels were offered but you had to return them. There was a pool on site next to the bar, as well as a sitting area. If you like wind surfing then this is your beach. Lots of windsurfers here. Quiet beach with little to none visitors. CONS: no elevators, but the stairs to the floors only contained about 3-7 steps depending on the floor( staff helps carry your luggage). The wood board walkways need a good sanding or painting( but they let this go bc of the salt water next to the beach slowly eating it up?).The beach chairs on the deck need to be replaced as they all sink in and had bird poop everywhere. The beach could have been amazing beautiful but it was literally 80% covered in seaweed. IF THE HOTEL AND next door business would take 1-2 hours each morning to take them like other beaches it would be beautiful. you can still walk on the beach... just be careful it can get very hot even under the clouds. On two nights the AC turned off which we awoke to bc we couldn’t breathe from the humidity for about 30 minutes. 2nd time, whole hotel out of power from 11pm-2/3am!!

This property is a disgrace Expedia shoud cease to promote this property and save people from this horror hotel. The building is derelict and is in dire need of repairs . It is simply not safe and neither is the environs. I am warning my fellow business travellers the pictures online do not tell the true tale.Easily the worse hotel in Barbados!!!

The hotel is quite close to the airport and not close to any other facilities; area feels quite residential. The room I got had a nice view of mainly palm trees with the ocean peeking through. The room was a very decent size, and the bed king sized. The lock on the bedroom door is quite finicky and could do with an upgrade. The bathroom, while nice, could do with a mould clean. Also, the balcony door handle was completely rusted with what looked like algae and was not pleasant to touch. The service was great, Suzette couldn't do enough for us. She was a fountain of knowledge and very helpful. Also, Robert the bartender was really helpful. Suggestion to the hotel: Get wifi into the rooms! Expecting people to access wifi from the restaurant area alone shouldn't be acceptable in 2019.
