I am unaware of who checked you in, but there is a doorknob hanger in each room to indicate you would like service. No, not all rooms in Bar Harbor are 400.00. By booking directly through our website, anneswhitecolumns.com or by calling us directly you will be able to reserve the same room at a less expensive rate. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay at Anne's White Columns Inn and your visit to Acadia National Park.

The guests were given the proper information by Lynette. The guests were informed coffee would be ready at 7:00 (which it is) and that breakfast would begin at 8:00. The guests were already seated for breakfast when staff arrived. I am sorry the guests felt I was not warm and friendly while the property is being prepared for breakfast. That is a very busy time for us as we prepare for breakfast and begin the day for the staff at all three of our Bed and Breakfasts. I personally rotate between all of our three B&B's before breakfast to make sure all is prepared. Fortunately breakfast was ready at 7:00 and Kernal was able to serve our guests while I was between properties. Acadia National Park is one of the most desirable national parks in America. Our staff are a wealth of information as they are all local. We are right down town so you can walk to everything. We look forward to meeting all of our guests, old friends and new friends.

1. The days during the guest stayed were in the 60s. The nights were in the 50s. When offered a new air conditioned it was refused. 2. We employ three professional chefs to prepare our daily breakfast. NOTHING IS FROZED OR PREPROSSED. We begin with a fresh fruit course followed by a bread course (either muffins or breads baked each morning followed by the main course. This might be either quiche, french toast. or a traditional country breakfast or eggs with bacon or sausage. We can also meet dietary needs including gluten free, dairy free or vegan Guest never came done to breakfast. We are considered to have one of the best breakfasts on the island. 3. TV is great for watching news or weather. They are smart 18inch TVs. I would recommend for watching ball games. We do have hotel room size TVS. (42 inch). There are several sports bars in town. We asked daily how we could help our guests. We hope the guest can in the future find one of the many hotels in Bar Harbor that meets there need.

Per the governors order we are not allowed to enter after the guests enter the rooms. On occasion a guest will spill coffee on the carpet which take at least two days to schedule a cleaning. All linens are professionally cleaned after each guest departs by the professional laundry service. Towels and daily room service is provided on request. This is a Victorian B&B with many period and priceless antiques and paintings which guests cannot get at a Hotel. Our breakfasts our prepared by professional chefs. We provide a fruit course, fresh baked goods and multiple entrees with to meet the guests needs. We can always provide a country breakfast of eggs and bacon if desired. We can make anything if asked in advance.
