Green view Hotel
The Hotel location is in North Bandung City, surrounded by green natural scenery. It was nice to stay in this Hotel, they offered us a free room upgrade. In the morning we can enjoy the beautiful scenery and the fresh air by walking around the Hotel.

Below par than expected
For a 5 star hotel we expect - excellent customer service . Which was totally missing . Staffs are not trained enough. I didn’t get a Butter when asked in the counter during breakfast , reply was that it got finished . But i went to the floor manager and he could go inside a get one . I’m not a beef eater - no chicken for the barbecue dinner , first the chef mentioned he will bring it and then later the answer is it got finished. This is 7pm time .Can someone Please check below the bed - hell lot of dust . SO the vaccum cleaner never reached to this place at all .The extension area in the room was also dusty , the curtains was also having dust . Overall i was not satisfied . I got a drawing from the housekeeping staff on the mirror which made my mood better .

Nice hotel in Dago Pakar Bandung
The view is very beautiful, especially when there is thick fog in the morning. The hotel reduced the capacity due to covid precaution to help guests maintain physical distancing which is good. The sound proof between rooms is bad so that we can hear conversations from the room next door.

i ordered a taxi one day before for the morning but they forgot it and had to re order in the morning, taxis usually takes 30 mins to arrive at the hotel, i was quite worried since i left for a flight

Quiet weekend stay; location not so convenient
Weekend stay. The hotel is located in a quiet area of town, but far from anything & requiring taxi to go anywhere. Hotel cleanliness & maintenance was less then ideal, but staff were generally kind & helpful. Good location for golf but otherwise better to stay elsewhere.

Peaceful and comfortable stay
Overall stay as great, view from the room was fantastic and the room was especially spacious. Amenities were also of great quality. Only thing which I was a little taken aback was that the hotel had switched off the lobby lights when I arrived at 1am - explained that it was to conserve energy so I guess I won't complain in the name of being environmentally friendly - and the lights in the lift were especially dim throughout the day. Breakfast was the usual intercontinental fare, which I guess also meant it was nothing amazing. Location was great if you're looking for peace, quiet and some greenery. It was located fairly far from the city centre.

Returning guests to Intercontinental Bandung, Dago Pakar. The cleanliness standards had dropped and fell before our expectations of an IHG hotel when we visited 2 years ago. Multiple stains were observed on the carpets near to the working desk. The fabric on the day bed was also badly stained. This suggest a slack in the cleaning regime. The mini bar was also found to be almost empty. Hope intercontinental can bring back the pleasant experience 2 years ago.

4 days at so called a '5 star hotel' with excellent reviews of good food & ambience. 1st day-paid for mountain view but got a carpark view. 2nd day-after a long day outing came back late night,room was not clean.ordered dine in 3rd day-came back night found new cigarette on the table & earpiece in my pocket haversack in the safety box room was stolen. 4th day-ordered room service breakfast,eaten when to shower place my breakfast tray by the daybed & i found fat maggots in my food. (My complains for all that were ignorant unattentively called up,being passed to several staffs,i had to repeat explaining my disappointment,took matters lightly,maybe not happening in their own shoes:(

Rooms left much to be desired
The room was quite dirty and ill-maintained (there were carpet burns). There was a strong sewerage smell in the shower area, as well as the bathroom. The rain shower was squeaking. The air-conditioning was also squeaking throughout the night.

Quiet hotel for getaway
This hotel has been around for 2 years (according to the receptionist). The hotel is in a very good condition, clean, well maintained, and surprisingly very quiet. As it was in a long weekend we had anticipated a crowded hotel. The room was spacious, the food was scrumptious, and the pool was always warm and enjoyable in an always-cold weather. The hotel is located in a luxurious and isolated area in Bandung. It would take around 10-15 minutes driving (or around 1 hour walking) to find the nearest store.

Good but Inconsistent service some disappointments
Overall the stay was enjoyable. Spacious rooms, beautiful view and location and friendly service overall. The breakfast buffet was extensive and service in coffee shop and concierge was attentive. However service and professionalism lacked greatly in the Chinese Restaurant and Spa which led to disappointing experiences and what could have been a level 5 rating (high) is regretfully a 3.5. But this can be improved with better staffing, training and upholding service excellence standards.

The staff members are friendly and helpful. They even suggested a breakfast pack when they knew I was checking out by 5am. However, there’s no bath robe, no hair dryer and the safe and fridge was locked. all resolved when I asked though. Food in the restaurants are not authentic Indonesian fare (except for the baso and afternoon snacks).

Upon checking in at the reception they told me only smoking room was available even though the booking clearly stated non-smoking room. They then told me to upgrade my room at additional fee. After demanding for it they finally said there is a non-smoking room available then brought me to a shady, smelly room to view the room first. obviously I did not want as I was with kids. So I had to settle and pay extra even though it felt like an upsell trick they used as I have experienced it twice. The upgrade room was much nicer in a non-smoking floor and without the smell.

A Relaxing Weekend in the Mountain
I had an amazing stay at Intercontinental Hotel Bandung. And my room was extraordinary. The room was very spacious, and the view from the room was breathtaking. The bed was so comfy, there were a lot of amenities in the bathroom, and a coffee machine in my room. I had the most relaxing time feeling like a riché during my stay. The staff were so friendly and informative about every enquiry that I asked. The only thing that I noticed from the condition of the hotel, which I felt it was such a pity for a hotel as caliber as Intercontinental. The hotel was only 2 years old, but there are certain parts of the hotel that had run down. I just wished that the management will take good care of the hotel's condition more thoroughly.
