Wifi available but very limited capability...thats when the wfi router is on. Needed to be reset/restarted by staff often. Property is a little dated but there are signs of new/recent structure upkeep or replacement visible. Convenient location on the less hectic Eastside of peninsula but still can easily get to the more congested westside (EggHarbor, SisterBay, Efraim, etc) when desired. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Plenty of (animal) wildlife in the area. Relaxing.

The room had everything we needed, and more. When we requested a shower seat, they went out of their way to get one. The room had no steps to climb and the bathroom had good grab bars.

Great location and a nice place to stay if you like floors that aren't level and slope downhill, mold in the shower, dirty linoleum from the 1980s, no mirror on the same wall as the bathroom sink, a couch with no padding and torn fabric, a toilet that leans to the right, a vintage oven but not in the cool way, a night light above the bed with a 120 watt bulb, distressed furnishings not for look but because of age and lack of quality and a general sense of neglect, wear and lack of giving a damn. The staff member who checked us in was very nice.

Quaint and gorgeous wood views
Really cute little hotel. Outdated but excellent prices you won’t find anywhere else. Biggest complaints was cleanliness of sheets and towels that were stained and dingy. The towels were stained as were the sheets. Missing lightbulbs and essentially no Wi-Fi that works. But the woods were gorgeous out our back patio and the fire pit and cute little outdoor places beautiful. Great and cheap little place to stay.

Spend the extra $50 and stay somewhere nicer It’s like a super 8 in the woods with no steady WiFi or tv channels Very outdated no telephones in the rooms No bathtub just standing shower which took 20 mins to get warm. Mini fridge was broken and the front door dead bolt didn’t lock!!

We were pleasantly surprised! The rooms, while dated as other reviewers mentioned, are super comfortable and clean. We took a first floor room with our German Shepard and we had a beer on our little patio while throwing the ball in the grassy back area. There is a large fire pit which we lit up after dinner (which was walking distance!) We will definitely stay at The Ridges again!

My compliments to the office staff who are friendly, welcoming, helpful and efficient. This was my second stay and I have no regrets. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. I like staying on the quiet side of Door County. Everything is just a short ride away. Only negative is that internet service in the room did not work. But just step outside and sit on one of the provided chairs and the internet is quickly up and running.

Very disappointed. The cottage has not been updated since the 80's or 90's. I found mens dirty boxer shorts on the closet floor so you know the place wasn't vacuumed or limited vacuuming. Only 2 bath towels even though I registered 4 occupants staying in the room. The dehumidifier leaked a huge puddle of water on the kitchen floor and the staff didn't even have a mop to clean it up! Had to use bath towels. The occupants upstairs came down and slammed the outer door and a picture (nail and all) fell off the wall in our unit! Luckily no one was injured. The sliding glass door had no lock on it and we had to use a piece of wood placed in the door tracking to keep people from coming in our unit, however, the piece of wood was too short and the door was able to open slightly! Couldn't open the vertical blinds in the family room because they were off track. Just dirty! Everything was dirty!

Took last spot in overflow parking lot even though sign said there were vacancies. Poor cell service and no Wi-Fi. Coffee in room, but no stir sticks. Positives: Bed was comfortable. Location was walkable into town (short distance on highway). Among lower prices for Door County.

The good and the bad.
We stayed four nights and rented two rooms on the second floor. Pros: The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean and in good shape. The extra large whirpool tub in the room was a great treat. Cons: Unfortunately there's a few: 1) The seam around the Hvac system was open enough to allow any bugs to come in (none did in our stay) They need to stuff insulation around the seams of the units. 2) The bathroom towels were very thin and worn out. 3) The refrigerator temperature knob was missing on both refrigerators on both units. 4) There was a huge amount of ice in the freezer sections of both refrigerators. You need to have your staff defrost the refrigerators regularly as part of the cleaning process. 5) Finally, the WIFI was not good. In today's day and age, having good Wifi in a hotel is an absolute must. We hardly got reception on one room, and on the other got two to a possible three bars at the most. This needs a huge improvement.

There was no information that daily housekeeping was not provided due to Covid. Could of used bedside table on both sides of the bed. One light didn't work and needed more lighting in the living room. Staff was helpful.

The check in was seamless after hours. The room was spacious with high ceilings. It was very clean and the fridge was very big too!
