Old hotel but very nicely refurbished inside. Immaculate room and bathroom. Friendly staff. Pleasant breakfast in conservatory. Hotel situated in a lovely quiet residential area with a 20 minute walk into the centre of Bagnoles
Nice and convenient place to stay. Friendly service

So so stay.
A 2 night stay whilst house hunting. A fair distance from town centre. Welcome was fine and the room ok but very warm with no air con and a lot of traffic noise with window open. Ate in 1st evening but very disappointing. 1st whlte muscadet undrinkable and 2nd red not much better. They temoved the white but it was a 2014 and should not have been served in the 1st place. Breakfast was fine. There must be better hotels around.
Really nice stay ... randomly picked on way to Le Shuttle in Calais ... which turned out to be an excellent choice, well-priced and what a beautiful setting ... safe parking really appreciated as car packed to the gills with holiday stuff!
This was a comfortable hotel, with easy parking, but where were all the guests? It is an interesting hotel with photographs of the hotel showing its history.
The dining room was pleasant, bedroom/bathroom very clean, and the provision of a lift most welcome.

Good position on route south France to Cherbourg
Enjoyed stay but no evening meal available on late arrival for us 6.30 pm
A nice old traditional building slightly out of Bagnoles centre clean and tidy. Not the warmest of welcomes and the breakfast was ok but nothing to rave about. Full of character with original tiled floors and comfortable lounge area. We did not use the restaurant so cannot comment on that. Decent size parking area through gates and down the drive.

A great experience at this price. Reccomended
We would usually stay at the big brand hotels and usually 4 or 5 star. This hotel did not have the flashy reception or modern common areas but excelled where it counts - comfortable rooms and a very pleasant stay, highly recommended
Excellent location with comfy and clean room. Lovely village and easy to find.

Quiet hotel useful for overnight stay
Nice clean hotel but lacked any atmosphere. The receptionist was efficient but unfriendly.Room was excellent, quiet with lovely views to the rear. We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food, but the dining room was reasonably quiet.
Wifi was very slow to non existent in the room. May have been better in the communal areas?.
Hotel well away from main town but there was one excellent rester aunt next door which we managed to eat in on the two evenings. Excellent patisserie nearby.
Very pretty village and lake with lots of restaurants. Fairly quiet despite the hot weather and being on a Friday in the height of summer. An expensive area but worth a visit.
Lovely room. Although advertised as English spoken in tourist information. It came over as anti-English. The proprietor and staff were hovering over you all the time and intrusive.
Loved the historic elements on the ground floor kept from its creation in 1912. Room was very clean and a good size. Food was good - would return!

Strange hotel in a spa town
A very dour reception manager but a delightful waiter in the very good restaurant. Good car park, poor internet, comfortable beds and very strange shower. Full of elderly people there for the spa I think. Lovely park opposite with beautiful trees. Located at quite a distance from the main town. Okay for an overnight stay.
