Great for on the road.
All in all a decent hotel in convenient place for a night over while on the road. The parking was not easy to find due to roadworks. It seemed we were misinformed about available breakfast times, which resulted in us having to get up earlier than intended, not a real issue biut never the less a pity.

The regular service craft were very friendly. The people from reception should learn proper customer service skills from the rest of the workers in the hotel. Me and my team have been at many hotels. Some good some bad for a chain this was the worst Mercure and one of the worse hotel experiences ever.

Dear guest, due to the Corona Pandemic there are very strict legal regulations in Germany, and our employees are required to enforce these rules vigorously. At this point there is no room for service skills of any kind. Please simply stick to the rules during your next visit!

By far the worst ‘mecure’ hotel I’ve ever stayed in, in fact I’m shocked it’s allowed to be called that, from unfriendly staff, to really a poor smelling room, to uncomfortable mattresses, not worth staying in.

Despite several requests, you are not able to wear the mask prescribed in Germany and are now surprised that our staff reacts unheedly?! Afterwards, you can't think of anything better than to rate our hotel badly? It's a pity that you didn't like it with us.

Quick stay
An extremely comfortable room, but there was a problem with the hot water in the shower...these things happen sometimes. The neighborhood is not terribly "chic", but centrally located, which is a plus, because within walking distance to the center of town.

as good as always
This hotel is one we use every time we visit. Its good value for money, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We use the bakeries in town for breakfast because it is a cheap, easy and tasty option. We have never used the restaurant so can't comment on it. Parking is a bit expensive but very secure.

Great comfortable hotel with underground parking
We stayed in the Mercure Hotel for three nights while traveling through Germany. Having read the other travellers reviews we were a little bit worried about the railway track noise coming from the nearby railway station that other guests have mentioned. I can only say that the noise didn't bother us to much as the hotel was rather empty while we were there, and we sort of accepted it, having preferred this kind of noise over a noisy guests! Should we stayed in the hotel during a colder weather with the windows shut it wouldn't be an issue at all. The most important was that the hotel was really clean, modern, very comfortable, and centrally located. What's more, there was a good quality Bosch tea/coffee machine provided in the room together with a large bottle of a quality local mineral water supplied every day, which was a nice touch. There is also an underground parking space for the car should anyone need it. If I ever return to Bad Oeynhausen I am certainly going to stay in Mercure hotel again. P.S. Have I mentioned the best quality crisp bed sheets?

Very clean and great location to see all of the regions of Germany. The kurpark is stunning, quiet and relaxed in area. Staff especially man at reception very welcoming and very friendly. Will stay here again.

Very nice place to stay
This hotel is an ideal location to stay if you travel by rail.For somebody not familiar with the local area the garage is very easy to find and the actual spaces are very small.

Always have a good experience here
We have used this hotel on several occasions now, it always clean and comfortable and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. As before we chose not to have the hotel breakfast which is a bit pricey, instead we took the 5 mins walk into town and enjoyed breakfast fresh from the bakery.

Friendly hotel
Very nice and helpful staff. This is a town centre hotel for either business or pleasure. If you have trouble sleeping don't take a room on the street side as the train station is literally 40 yards away.

This was a return visit to this hotel for us, having stayed about 18months ago. They have actually done some owrk on the rooms, even they were comfortable before. There is now a tea/coffee machine in the room. The town and its restaurants, cafes and backeries are within an easy 5-10 minute walk, and are good quality without high prices.

Train in the room
The person at the front desk did not speak English, French or any other language than German. The hotel is right in front of a railway, so I heard trains in my room the hoe night. They charge for the Internet and offer a lousy connection. Same for the breakfast.

|Very impressed with standard of hotel. Really peaceful in hotel. Close to all amenities - in particular shops and restaurants. Extremely reasonable rates considering standard and spacious room. Didn't have breakfast in hotel as seemed expensive and so many good cafes nearby. Staff helpful but in no way intrusive. A few little things that could make stay smoother if you knew beforehand - eg car park is underground entrance as go into street; wifi only seemed to work in reception; have to buy replacement coffee pods for tassimo machine from reception no kettle in room. Otherwise great.

This hotel was comfortable, conveniant and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We felt we actually welcomed here, not just greeted. The hotel itself is easy to find, the only slight difficultycomes if you have never been there before, as the parking is underground and so not easy to find. We paid to park on a side street until we got checked in. The hotel has no restaurant, but in about a 5 minutes you can walk into the middle of town and there are plently of places to choose from. We did not book the breakfast and choose to use the backery in town, again, I would strongly recommend this. The bar at the hotel is well stocked and the service is brilliant. If we had not already had plans it would have been nice to have stayed longer.

Great Hotel
A thoroughly clean, modern hotel right in the centre of the town. Very pretty town with a few nice restaurants. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was expensive at EUR 16 but was worth buying as there was so much to eat and drink! I'd stay there again!

Mitarbeiter mega👍👍👍👍👍👍!!!! Frühstücksbuffet 👍👍👍👍👍👍!!!! Für mich persönlich, war die Umgebung gegenüber des Bahnhofs und ein Wettbüro als Nachbarn, beklemmend, ein Spiegel aller Facetten des Lebens. Ansonsten direkt an der Fußgängerzone und unweit vom wunderschönen Park.
