We arrived in Puerto Rico on Saturday and spent the first three days on the west coast. It was paradise. On tuesday we arrived at the Wyndham and found out what Paradis in Paradise could mean. It was perfect from arrival to evey moment we were there. We only left the resort a few times to explore the surrounding area and found we wanted to rush back to the resort, not because we did not like the area, but we simply enjoyed the resort so much. We will definitely return.
First off don't book this hotel if you can't live without air conditioning and electricity in your room. The hotel is situated on top of a mountain over looking the gorgeous rainforest and you can even see down to Fajardo and the Islands of Vieques and Culebra from the back of the property. The owner was very friendly and greeted us promptly. The hotel is completely self sufficient and runs off rainwater and solar power. Room was huge and very clean. We fell asleep listening to the rain and frogs at night and enjoyed sunbathing and exploring the rainforest during the day. At night we utilized the common area to play board games, drink, and have a great time. Highly recommended for the outdoorsy and nature lovers! Will definitely be back.
Beautiful grounds, pool unbelievable. Excellent service. Only down part were the beds and tv. We had 2 doubles for 2 adults and 2 teens- ended up getting a cot for 1 of the kids and had restless nights for the adults. Not too much to do at night so better TV channel selections would have been nice. The Palomino island beach was very seaweedy and water was not clear.
This hotel was great, very clean, very helpful staff, great room service, beautiful site (tropical bird cage, putt putt golf, super cool pool area), amongst many other good features. Only downfall, is its kind of up on a hill so you can't really walk anywhere, which was fine for us but could be a downfall to some. It was nice just to hang out there a couple days of our trip too. Plenty to do, and two restaurants on site. GREAT value for the price we paid.

First time ever stayed in a hostel. We are in our 50's so got some surprised looks when we walked in, but everyone was great - very courteous and helpful.
Room was fine - interestingly decorated. Bed wasn't top of the line, but ok and we slept fine.
Washer and dryer available which turned out to be an unexpected benefit. Our beach towels needed washed and dried by this point in our trip.
Neighborhood looked a little sketchy, but we didn't have any problems. We parked on the street in front of the hostel and the car was fine.
Rooftop deck was neat.
I would stay again.
Top notch resort. The only thing they could improve are their restaurants. It's not that the food is bad but we traveled through many neighbor cities and did eat better food for less money. Definitely rent a car if you want to stay there but have any interest in seeing the rest of the island.
This is a magical place, only 2 miles from the freeway and easy to find, yet so quiet and peaceful on the foothills of the mountains. Cool breeze (in December) we did not need the AC. The dogs are so sweet (we miss them) - Pablo is a gracious host, and Chris is very helpful. Stay here - you will love it.
