Our family stops here annually with pets. Dogs love the balcony to watch people in the pool area. Recently updated and very clean.

Arrived got ready to go get in the hot tub get there it's out of order. Go back to our room to take a HOT shower. The water ONLY gets WARM with NO pressure.

The room was newly renovated and very clean. The hotel staff was great - we are traveling with a large dog and they were helpful with him. The bar had a live band - fun evening!

It is fresh and redone. Great room. Still under some construction. Only 2 hangers in my room and no extra in the hotel. They did say rooms were being opened ahead of schedule which lead to the lack of hangers. In the nicest way I suggested have someone run to the store and get some. That is what I did because I did need them for my suite and shirts.

No advance notice given for construction
The hotel needs to update their listing here to note that due to construction the pool and fitness center were not available. Both amenities were reasons why I booked this hotel for a weekend stay. I got a call the day before checkin from the hotel to notify me about this but I could not cancel at that point so I had a disappointed child for the weekend. Otherwise the room itself was nice.

We sat outside in the heated patio. My suggestion is for the north side where the smokers congregate. There needs to either have a plexiglass piece inserted on the gate or that area moved away. The smoke was terrible coming into the patio area. we finished our drinks rather fast to escape it. One Doubletree takes over, maybe they will have a better idea. It is always nice to come home to Austin. Also our server, Dusty. Was fantastic!!!!!!!! Kind regards

Cory,Thank you for feedback on your recent stay. We are sorry that we are low on ice machines at the moment. We do have ice in our kitchen and restaurant that staff would be able to assist with and we do still have one machine operating in the corridor. We understand that this isn't ideal and hope that the issue can be solved soon.

Staff was great, very helpful and friendly. Website did not tell us it was under construction. Hot tub out of commission! Paint on inside of bathroom door peeling. Toilet seat not secured. Switch for tub jets not secure - unsafe. Kleenex poor quality.

The staff and the rooms were pleasant. Just a big let down that the hot tub was busted and only had freezing cold water. We were looking forward to a hot tub!

Comfortable Stay
I was here for business and I believe this is the nicest hotel in Austin - however there doesn't appear to be many choices. Staff was all quite friendly, the room are quite big, and while clean they are all dated - which is no big deal. The breakfast at the cafe was not the greatest, but maybe pancakes aren't their specialty.
