Great stay!
It was wonderful, from the easy access and minimalist design to the fireplace and VERY close proximity to the ski resort (we walked to ski several times). Last time we came up to ski we stayed in the Villas rented by the resort itself and, while that was fine, the aesthetic and feel of this was a much better experience overall. Highly recommend!

Cozy, chic, and charming
We loved this stay from the moment we walked in the door until we had to say goodbye. The decor is impeccable, the mood is so comfortable, and the setting is perfect. The hosts were excellent with communication and truly have thought of everything you will need during your stay. We booked for 5 nights of R&R and that was exactly what we got! We will be back!

CUTE N COZY
This property is amazing and lives up to it name "Hygge Suite" very cozy and design features are clean, sleek and thoughtful. Has everthing you need for a couple and your pet. Definitely recommend staying here!

Fantastic
Property was super cute. Great location to the beach. Perfect spot if golfing at the Legends or the quarry. Communication with the owners was fantastic. Would definitely recommend!

Visiting for a family funeral, and this was the perfect place to come back to at the end of each day. The only thing that could have made it better would have been nicer weather. It was clean, had everything you needed and had a great view of the water with loons calling at dusk. Peaceful plus a gorgeous environment.

Would stay again!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Hygge Suite and Giants Ridge. The condo was convenient to the ski hill and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. We left our pup at home this time but appreciated the dog friendly touches. We look forward to returning in the summer to enjoy the lake amenities as well!

Perfect
The Hygge Suite was the perfect spot for my wife and I. From the walk in throughout our stay it provided everything we needed in such a pleasing way. It is an intimate layout with thought put into every little thing. The view out the back is beautiful and the fireplace warm and bright. Things are in the right spot, convenient and comfortable. This will be one of out home away from home spots from now on.

So clean. So. So. So clean. They allow dogs but you would never know it. Beautiful space. Excellent communication with the host. All of the right amenities. I slept very comfortably on the couch. We will be back.

State ski trip
My parents traveled with us to watch their granddaughter race in the state alpine meet and wanted their own space. The condo was great, walk across the road to the ski hill for the race, and communication with owners was awesome!! Thanks!!

Easy and Relaxing
We had a wonderful time. The back door opens to a lake and trail for snowshoeing that was great across the bridge and through the woods. Skiing was easy across the street. The amenities are perfect with great kitchen accessories, coffee, and games to play by the warm fire. Thank you!

Great location for a ski weekend!
The Hygge Studio was the perfect place for our winter getaway up north. Easy access to hiking trails out the back door, and right across the street from Giants Ridge ski area. The hosts communicated well and were very accommodating. Dog friendly is a huge plus! We will definitely be back!

Perfect location for skiing!
The Hygge Suite was perfect for our skiing weekend get a way. It was close to the ski hill, even within walking distance. It was very cute and cozy. We had everything we needed to cook meals. The bed was beautiful and very comfy. My husband also loved The Hygge Suite!!

We truly learned the meaning of Hygge
Thanks Jo & Harv for a wonderful stay. We so enjoyed our time at the Hygge suite. It is exactly as you advertise it, calm and comfortable luxuriously appointed. It has everything you need. Sitting in the morning, drinking coffee and tea on the deck was my favorite part, it was so peaceful. Lily, our dog, enjoyed the trails that are easily access from the suites location. Thanks again, we hope to come back soon.

It is a beautiful suite in a lovely setting with a beach, lake, pool, and quaint towns nearby. There is plenty to do, but is also very serene if you enjoy watching the sun glisten on the water.

The Hygge Suite is exactly as described with beautiful Wynne Lake right outside the back porch. There are loads of activities to enjoy at Giant's Ridge, and this property was a perfect fit for me and my husband.

We enjoyed our stay so very much at the aptly named Hygge suite! It was beautifully decorated. We spent a lot of time on the deck which faced Wynne Lake. Many places to hike nearby. Relaxing condo, lakeside, fireplace, community pool, very clean and modern, dog friendly.
Very well appointed condo, lots of seating in living room with great TV and fireplace, well appointed kitchen, big bed and bedroom, nice rain shower, very clean and relaxing feel. Loved the community pool, but some day will swim in the lake (too cold in June), lots of beautiful walking paths, lake is very pretty. Easy to shop for food to cook in Biwabik plus a number of local restaurants - pizza in Biwabik is great! We'll definately rent the Hygge Suite again!!!

Wonderful and Relaxing Sty
I needed a space for study retreat - to attend an online conference and so some work. The Hygge Suite was the perfect place for that! The pictures on the listing are completely accurate, so I got what I was expecting. Every detail in the suite was well thought out and the lake was right outside the door. Being able to bring my dog with me was just what I needed to take away all stress so I could focus. I finally recommend Jo and Harv as hosts! If I could give more than 5 stars - I would!

Incredible stay!
I can’t say enough about the Hygge suite. My husband and I were having trouble finding a nice rental property that was on the lake and also dog friendly that we could bring our pug with us and then we found this incredible gem. We felt like we were staying in a luxury resort suite but also had the privacy, peace and calm of a lake house for us to get away from the city for a few days. We loved golfing so close to the stay at Giants Ridge and went on different hikes twice a day with our pug who loved every minute. We definitely want to return sometime and cannot recommend this property or these hosts enough.

The Perfect “Up North” Vacation retreat!
Literally no detail left out, from beach towels to dog blankets to life preservers this place has it all and does in style! Absolutely gorgeous Scandinavian finishes with a beautiful lake view and amazing biking/walking/running trails right out your door! Enjoy the kayaks/canoes/etc on the gorgeous lake w/friendly service from the Welcome Center. We would not change one thing…look no further, just book it, you will not be disappointed!

Beautiful location on a small lake near Giant’s Ridge. Property includes access to a a pool and tennis court. Unit includes a jetted tub, which we did use. Very comfortable bed and couch. Nice decor. Would definitely recommend. Great area for golfing, hiking, and biking.

A relaxing and wonderful place!
Overall we can't say enough about this amazing place! We were looking for a quiet relaxing time away from reality and that is exactly what we got! Jo & Harv really have thought of everything in this unit. The room was updated recently with nice furniture and appliances, including a washer and dryer. Everything worked as it should. There are also BBQ grills outside; we grilled every night! We loved that our furry baby was able to go with us and that Jo & Harv had extra special items and t-r-e-a-t-s! Bentley ruffed them! The lake and walking trails just feet from your door. Most of the resort amenities were unavailable due to the timing of our stay, but we managed to fill our time. Jo & Harv also had a bowl full of different ideas on things we could do. We can't wait to go back and do some lake activities!

Peaceful and calm
This small condo is very comfortable and lovely. Hyge is a welcome option to the typical “north woods” style. The bed, sheets, pillows and towels are all in new condition. The kitchen has everything needed for basic cooking. There’s a step stool in the cleaning closet for hard to reach items. The bathtub is deep and the shower works well. I enjoyed the view of the lake and the nearby walking paths. The fireplace didn’t always work, it seems the on/off switch connection is broken, but is a nice feature during the cool of morning and evening. Because of my long-ish stay, I did a load of laundry. I found the dryer lint filter packed full of handfuls of lint. Guests should know to help prevent this potential fire hazard. Overall, everything is as pictured and described. Will definitely check availability for future visits.

Perfect getaway!
My daughter, dog, and I enjoyed our stay at the Hygge Suite! We loved the proximity to Giants Ridge, awesome walking/ hiking paths, beautiful views of the lake, and the beautiful, cozy condo to come home and relax. Can't wait to visit in the summer months to take advantage of the lake. The hosts were very organized, great communications and accommodating in adjusting our dates. Highly recommend!

Truly calming
Jo and Harv have created a very calming space to relax. The furniture, fabrics and household items are fresh, new and high quality. The townhome is so close to the slopes that it took me only 3 minutes from parking space to parking space. We will definitely be back!

Charming and bright
This place is amazing. Right at Giants Ridge so easily accessible to skiing and snowboarding. We were able to snow shoe right out of the back door as well. Every detail is thought of from cozy blankets, crisp bedding, fluffy towels to amenities for the dogs too.

Wonderful weekend
This condo is beautiful! We had a great weekend enjoying the Giants Ridge amenities and this warm and inviting condo. It was a great place to stay and enjoy the warm fireplace, comfortable couch to read a book and fully appointed kitchen to make our meals. We slept well in the bedroom and loved the spa-like bathroom. The owners thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable and are very responsive if you have any questions too. We would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect Weekend Winter Wonderland Get Away!
Stop looking, you found the weekend rental you are looking for! The Hygge Suite is perfect! Completely renovated from top to bottom, with no detail overlooked! The kitchen has everything you could need to cook anything your heart desires, the bathroom has the feel of a luxury spa, and the bedroom, oooh, how I wanted to take that decor home with me! The hosts are incredibly responsive to communications leading up to and during your stay (impressively so) and best of all, this glorious space is pet friendly! We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend away from “life” exploring the area trails with our pup and cooking up a storm in the kitchen. We didn’t go skiing this go around, but Giant’s Ridge is literally across the street, and we will definitely be back to hit the slopes! We cannot wait to come back!
