Check in was fast & the receptionist was friendly. The shower pressure was awesome, just be careful of the hot water heat. The room was clean & tidy & I didn't hear any noise from other guests (although I think there was only 1 other staying at the time). Convenient location. The bed was too hard.

Very nice property and room was well furnished and nice to stay in. The service from reception was good. The only negative was that the beds were very firm and on wheels.

On arriving at the hotel, it looked run down and significantly uninviting. The reception was unattended and after waiting for a few minutes I knocked loudly and then called out loudly. Still no-one. I was walking away from Reception when somebody appeared saying they were doing the laundry and hadnt heard me. HOWEVER. The room was fantastic, comfortable and clean and a really great experience.

Room was spotless service great but the stairs up to units , l felt very unsafe after hip Operation and was not aware of them. Would be only reason not to go back

It was ok, for some reason they have beds on castor wheels and the floor is all Lino…. So you go to hop into bed and end up rolling around the room!! Very annoying

Inside room was perfect. Outside is very rundown. Staff were rushing. Paid extra for my 5yo daughter to stay (under 8 is free) and had to ask for more towels. No extras were given (cutlery etc).

Room had been recently refurbished - the paint smell was a little over-powering. The shower toiletries had not been replenished before our stay - but there were some nice mini shampoo/conditioner/body wash complementary on the basin. Just would have been nice if the ones in the shower had not been empty.

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment which was perfect for a family. Small but had everything we needed. Easy walk into Takapuna town for dinner and a still along the beach

Property had been recently renovated so the rooms were lovely, comfortable and modern. We has an upstairs room tho and the stairs are too steep and not easy to walk up or down.

Fabulous shower! Close to lots of amenities, clean and tidy rooms. We were three adults, so the room with two single beds was a little cosy for two adults, but otherwise the space was great.

Good value for money. Doesn't look like much from the outside but the rooms are very modern. A bit of a walk to the shops and restaurants but there is a supermarket very close.
