“Convenient”

It was walking distance from the convention I was attending at the Omni. Convenient, clean and cheap.

“Comfortable”

The hotel itself was fine, nice room, clean, attentive staff. The bathroom was ok, nothing special. The hotel pool was a little cloudy and the parking is expensive and valet-only. Park across the street in the Hampton lot. It's park-it-yourself and $10 less a day. The restaurant food was very good.

Area recommendations

This is right downtown, close to Peachtree St., the CNN center and Centennial Park.

“Friendly people/Convenient”

The hotel was in a great location for many of the activities we planned. The staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, the hotel was relatively quiet.

“Small Room Great Quality”

I truly enjoyed my stay at Marriott I do feel however that given the great name behind the hotel and the rate of my room the room should have been bigger and more amenities in the room such as a microwave or maybe even a small frig. The hotel was very cl,ean the location was great . Thank you

“Perfect GA Dome Location”

Perfect location for Georgia Dome events. Easily walk to Dome, Aquarium, etc. and excellent restaurants and taverns. Staff very courteous and helpful.

“Not impressed”

I've stayed at a Marriott before and this one wasn't what I was expecting. There are NO amenities that come with the room other than a coffee maker. No shuttle service to drive you around the surrounding downtown area - which was the least I expected considering the Holiday Inn across the street had shuttle service FROM THE AIRPORT!!! The best thing about the hotel was the proximity to the aquarium. Oh - and the MARTA station.

Area recommendations

Lenox Square/Buckhead. Much nicer area than downtown. Plus, there's a mall & better restaurants.

Must see

The GA Aquarium was AWESOME!!! I didn't want to go because I didn't have my kids, but I was completely mesmerized upon entering. I would definitely go there again regardless of whether I stayed in the downtown area.

“Atlanta Hotel....within walking distance”

The hotel staff were friendly and accomodating. Room was clean and neat. The hotel restaurant was expensive though.

“Location was great!”
