Staff were lovely. Full board option was an incredible value. Food was great but might be repetitive after more than 4-5 days. The room did have limited storage space. Only issue was spotty hot availability but it was being worked on. We would definitely go back.

Certainly is a Gem! So convenient for access to tourist bus. Staff amazing. Our rooms were very quiet with excellent shower and comfortable bed. Food excellent- loads of fresh ingredients and freshly made. Stayed for 4 nights half board and additional choices provided on request. Maybe separate lounge area? But that would be icing on the cake. So a brilliant stay in Athens certainly added to by this hotel

Great hotel in a very good location
Great hotel in very good location. The room was comfortable and well equiped. The staff super friendly. The breakfast just perfect, with varied offers and everything very fresh and tasty. Perfect location to reach every part of the city center by foot. Very near public transport and very easy to get from the airport. We will come back and recommend!

Great hotel. Great breakfast. Excellent location.
Great hotel. Breakfast is amazing. Rooms are clean. Staff is terrific. Acropolis and Plaka are about a 15 minute walk. Nearest metro station is like a 5 minute walk. Only “problem”. The hotel is on the edge of the tourist area. Do not go past the hotel at night.

Great Location & Breakfast
This hotel was hidden just outside the outdoor walking social areas of Eolou and Ermou, which lead to Plaka from the hotel. Walking distance and near bus stops to all the tourist attractions. Quiet area and Breakfast was VERY Good. We plan to stay here again.

The place was very nice and their customer service was over the top. The receptionist welcomed us so well and kept in contact with us to let us know when the room was ready as we needed early check-in. At night we did hear a bit of music from the bar underneath but it was because our room was right on top of. However we did have a good sleep :)

The hotel is conveniently located, both in terms of restaurants and visitor attractions. This means you're in walking distance of pretty much all the major archaeological sites and museums. The staff were great and couldn't have been more helpful. The room was kept well supplied and immaculate at all times. We would definitely stay at The Gem Society Hotel again.

This hotel was always 5 minutes away. My husband and i would walk out, go shopping or to grab a meal,and then want to stop back at the hotel. Such a convenient location, decent sized room, very clear, and nice staff. Id stay here again

Charming higher end experience
Great boutique hotel tucked away off the main streets of Athens. Service was wonderful, we arrived late from our prior adventure and were promptly greeted with sparkling wine during check-in. Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean and small touches like a sign offering additional amenities upon request but indicating the hotel is trying to reduce waste. Due to the location the hotel was nice and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful and really filling. Sit down, plated service which was a nice change from the normal buffet style breakfast found at many hotels. Sadly we only stayed one night. Highly recommend if you are looking for a higher end hotel in Athens. We would happily stay again.

Exceptional hotel with amazing staff. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast was good and the choice amazing. Couple of small hiccups with water supply but was dearth with efficiently and swiftly. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Calming, hip hotel in central Athens
The Gem Society is a well appointed hotel in central Athens. It was close enough to all the highlights but in an area that didn’t feel touristy. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive. One morning I woke up to no water so I sent a WhatsApp message and it was fixed immediately. Breakfast was especially good. So much food, just like everywhere in Greece, and lots of good options to keep it interesting each day. The decor was absolutely beautiful. I loved the calming and hip vibe. My bed was especially comfortable, which helped ease my jet lag. I will definitely return the next time I’m in Athens!

Perfect stay!
Our 3 day stay was perfect. The staff is extremely friendly, the rooms are spacious and extremely clean, the food was good and we were in walking distance to Plaka. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this boutique hotel.

Short Athens break en route.
Perfect location near all amenities. Very helpful and welcoming team. A modern interior and very comfortable rooms, bathroom/WC open plan but thick frosted mirrors and no issue for us as a couple. All facilities were clean and well supplied.
