I booked this hotel bc it was within walking distance of The Paramount. I was alone and felt safe the entire time. The food at The Winchester on the 2nd floor was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised by everything ie extremely clean, kind staff etc. I would highly recommend to others.

Best hotel in Ashland
Excellent hotel stay, second stay there since it became the Delta by Marriott. A little congested right now due to construction on Winchester Ave, plenty of restaurants nearby with amazing food. Rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Front desk staff was exceptionally friendly.

The hotel was great, the bar was great. I can't speak for the restaurant. We walked in to eat breakfast and gave the waitress our drink order after 20 minites of waiting, we left. The waitress never returned and there was only 1 other table besides us. The menu looked good and I've heard good things about it but service wasn't up to par.

An off night for all, ne
We have always supported the Winchester restaurant and delta hotel(plaza most my life) the Winchester has always provided good service, at the table the food has always been fresh and tasty, We ordered room service which our order was politely received and correctly prepared and quickly at our door, the waiter who brought it was quick,professional,polite. The wine was mid which is what we asked for, the food wasn’t good at all we only picked at our house salad and ate our late night junk food a lil early with our glasses of wine.we are hoping it was an off night, given the past it’s what we excepted to be an off night so we signed for our food and our bottle of wine, with me asking the question to everyone about charges to my card and was told nothing would be due untill check out, That’s wasn’t the case I woke up to several times my card being ran, with me telling them and asking about charges then the opposite happening is why I keep my money in my savings account and will not set it up to be an auto back up, this was at 645 am first attempt, a few others over the next hour before I realized the notification sounds from my phone for my account, We woke all the way up cleaned up like we had not been there like we always do everywhere we stay, proceeded to check out, Bad food, the floors very dirty in The room hallways and lobby,trash cans over flowing,the mattresses hard as a rock and pillows go flat, shower was awesome,Paid in full for bad food,ALL polite great employees

I paid for a room through Expedia and the amount was taken from my account that day. A few days later I checked into the hotel and noticed the next day they had charged my card again, but for more than the room costs. This overdrew my account and caused an overdraft fee. I called the hotel and they told me this was a holding fee and I’d get it reimbursed within 7-10 business days. That’s fine, but I feel they need to let guests know of this charge so they make sure they have the money to do it! It has been 6 days and I have yet to see that money released to my account.

First room we checked into was still dirty from guest before. We checked in around 530p. Went to front desk they gave us a new room and a 10$ gift card to their market. We ended up spending 12$ at the market they just called it even so that was nice. Front desk people were friendly and pleasant

Horrible experience. Stood ten minutes waiting for desk clerk to check-in. Never a greeting when we came in/out. Room was broiling hot. A/C wouldn't work. Phone had no dial tone. Wifi out. No ice on two floors. No one working in bar to get ice. Only one elevator working. Manager supposed to call; never did. Ungodly mattresses and pillows (literally went out and bought pillows). Would have gladly moved to another hotel if Expedia rules allowed it. Final blow was no one at coffee stand in a.m. to BUY a coffee most hotels offer for free. For almost $200/night, they must be kidding!! I would NEVER stay there again. Incredibly embarrassed for the Marriott brand with this MESS!!

The hotel staff and guest services were fantastic. However there were things out of their control that were disappointing. There was no internet/wifi/tv access the entire 4 days. They had access in the lobby but not in guest rooms. I understand it could be difficult to get things fixed over a holiday ( but it had been down since at least the Friday before). So we couldn’t even turn on the tv for white noise to drown out the road construction noise from the street below. Overall we were just happy to be there, and the room was comfortable despite the street noise and no tv the entire stay.

Great hotel. Nice, quiet and clean. Easily accessible. Great common spaces. Didn’t visit the restaurant but the menu looks great and we’re told by a local that the restaurant and bars are very good. We will try the restaurant our next visit.

Front desk staff awesome. Great location. Nice hotel. Great location. Only negative was housekeeping, they left an old box of take out food in our mini frig which smelled really bad and they did not re-stock our coffee/tea basket. Other than that everything was great.

Room was very nice, but no microwave in room. Also we asked for a handicapped room & it was on the 10th floor. Getting off the 10th floor in case of an emergency would be very difficult if jandicapped.

Mattress too soft
The hotel and the staff were great. The beds in my room were both super, super soft. I know some people love that but it would have been great if one of them had had a firmer mattress.

Clean for real
The hotel was exceptional. I have skin sensitivity and usually have to place my own bedding over hotel sheets so I don’t break out . I had no breakouts at this hotel utilizing their bedding Also I usually wear flip flops in the shower and I was pleasantly surprised none were required here .
