Room layout was very nice. Beds were very comfortable and room was very clean. Had a nice sized fridge. Check in and out was very easy. The train is loud though!

Not friendly at check in. Wanted to change from 3 nights to 2 nights-had to get another person to handle. Weather rainy and shoes were wet when we entered room which had tile on the floor and no rug as you entered. Very slick and dangerous. Room service was minimal-emptied rash-did not empty coffee pot, make up beds-took used towels but did not replace. Also-but not their fault-trains blowing whistles several times each night waking us up each time. Good rate but thats all.

The office lady is very sweet and got me checked in quickly. The parking is easy and the room is very clean and comfortable. This motel is very affordable and offers exactly what it claims to.

This place is one of those U-shaped little single-story roadside motels that were everywhere in the 1940s and 50s. You park directly in front of your room, and walk right in. The room was immaculately clean, with a big flat-screen TV, all the Direct TV channels, a four-cup coffeemaker, refrigerator freezer, desk and chair, bedside table, with an easy-reach wall switch, and a terrific queen-sized bed. The price for a night's stay is also terrific. I'd recommend this motel to my friends and family without hesitation. It was really nice, and staff was, too! The parking area is well-lit and has plenty of room to back around and navigate. It's next door a big EZ Mart conveience store.

If you like a hard bed this is your motel. It is the nicest of the motels in Ashdown. The coffee pot had moldy coffee grounds in it. No running water when we checked in. They are working on remodeling his motel.

Better than expected
Pros: newly remodeled and freshly painted. Bed, for us, extra comfortable since we like firmer matresses. Loved the pillows. Towels fluffy. LOTS of cable channels to choose from. Microwave and fridge a big plus. Lots of space on bathroom counter. Cons: outside door. Two staff people were civil but not overly friendly and neither of the two I had to deal with never smiled and nor did I feel like I was truly welcomed.

Nice hotel
It was a small simple room. I was staying by myself so it was perfect. There was a microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot. The room was comfortable and it was fairly quiet. There is a train nearby but it didn't bother my sleep. Overall it was a nice place and I would stay here again.

The only problem was the fact that the railroad tracks are nearby. Trains roll by day and night. They use their horns excessively.

Hidden gem!!
One of those hidden gems. Don't look like much from the outside but nice. Owners are very friendly and make sure you are happy with your stay. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The room I had had one of those rain fall shower heads in the ahower. Absolutely amazing after a long day on the road. Will definitely stay here again in the area.

Ever Again.
We got there. Asked for a recite and she refused. She gave us 1 room key so we asked for 2, this made her mad. We get to the room, the keys don't work. We tell the lady and she opens the door with her master key. She goes back to the office to make more keys, they don't work. She moves us to another room. Guess what? Keys to tht room don't work either. Now she wants us to move again. All the rooms stink. We had to stuff towels between the 2 window pains to keep the AC in the room. It was booked for 2 King beds and she kept giving us full size. Floors were not swepped and nasty. We asked for a refund and she refused. We left and lost our $60.08. We stayed at the Baymont in Texarkana. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE.

Needed to travel for family emergency during coronavirus time. Motel accepted us during this time and we found them to be very accommodating - Couldn’t arrive until very late for checkin and they got us checked in very quickly. When they cleaned the room throughout our stay you could tell it had been sanitized. Bed was very comfortable, had a desk, microwave, refrigerator and overstuffed chair to sit in. Would recommend and definitely stay again.
