There was a construction in the hotel. Yesterday, I got to sleep at 2:30am because I cannot sleep because construction noice was terrible.

Dear SirThe noise was not from our hotel. We are not in the process of constructing anything. Unfortunately, our neighbor was occasioning this annoying and inconsiderate noise due works in his property. We call the Police and asked them to stopped works.Nevertheless it was not our responsibility, we are very sorry for the inconvenience. We will notice the authority about this unacceptable behavior.

Great location! Charges apply for early check in/late check out. No elevator. Breakfast is decent, view is beautiful. Staff will provide breakfast to go for anyone leaving early (sandwich, juice box, granola bar, fruit). Sound travels through hotel so bring ear plugs if needed. Rooms are clean and look recently renovated.

Centrally located boutique hotel with amazing views of Plaza de Armas. The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive. We wished he had stayed longer. Highly recommended and would return.

Small but lovely hotel right on the plaza.
This hotel is much smaller than I thought it would be, it's easy to pass by. There is literally no lobby, just a small couch across from the front desk, so don't expect to be able to relax in a lobby. The outside area where they serve breakfast is also very small, only seating for 3-4 groups.

Terrible hotel I have ever stayed.
So small bathroom can not do anything in there. No hot shower. Bad men staffs. Took more than 30 mins to check out.

A great view hotel
The breakfast in the center and the view from the hotel is the best it has but the hotel and rooms are small. Also there are several stairs without a person who can help the guets with the bags. The hotel doesnt have food service and there arent air conditioning.

Staff isn't friendly and not accommodating at all.
The hotel itself was ok, but everything we requested had a response of "No". Somehow in Expedia it seemed like we were getting a room with 3 beds as we had 3 individuals. We wouldn't have considered this hotel had it not been. Pictures showed 3 beds, but really there are no rooms with 3 beds. Then, when we asked for any options to help cope with 3 individuals, everything came back "No". Extra pillows - no. Extra mattress - no. Change rooms - no (since they didn't have any). We eventually found a way to be creative, but not the type of service you'd expect. Later on, we wanted to cancel and leave early, but they also said "No". Very unaccommodating, so be careful before booking. There are many hotels nearby that are less expensive and likely friendlier. Any hotels in the area should suffice.

Overall, it was a nice stay. The hotel is very much in the middle of everything. The breakfast was good. The hotel staff was friendly. The only downside is that since the hotel is in the main town square which is for pedestrians only, you will need to carry your suitcases for about a block. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

Great Hote, Great Location
Despite some of the pictures you probably see of La Plaza Arequipa online, most rooms do not have a view of the Plaza de Armas. Instead, you can take advantage of the hotel's view via the second floor balcony. It's wonderful sitting out there for breakfast (free from 7-9am) or for a cocktail or cerveza (beer) in the afternoon/evening. Drinks can be ordered/purchased from the restaurant/bar next to the hotel on the second floor. Breakfast included tea, coffee, juice, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with ham, bacon, sausage, olives, cheese, bread, fruit, and yogurt (I may have missed a couple items). Having traveled through Peru for 2 weeks, this breakfast was one of the better ones offered complimentary from a hotel/hostel. You have to be buzzed in to enter the hotel, which is great added security. The hotel is a walk up, with a cool winding staircase. The staff helps carry your luggage up and down the stairs. They have 3 floors of rooms. As for the room itself was small, but clean and comfortable. The decor of the room was modern and pretty with great mirrors, chandelier light fixtures, clear plastic chairs and white linens. The bed was very comfortable. They have free wi-fi. The only negative is the noise. For my room, the vent in the bathroom is connected to the main hallway, so you can hear a lot and probably vice versa. Stayed May 2016, traveled as a couple

Could not have been better hotel for new year eve right on the main place had a very nice and quite room i had most of my meals on the terrasse facing the cathedrale Arequipa is a beautiful city especialy the center No doubt i will come back again in the same hotel

Excellent location and nice room
The hotel is in plaza de armas so it close to a lot of restaurants shops. The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast is simple. The service was good. The rooms doesn't have air conditioning but it seems that this is the same in all the hotels that I have been in Peru. I recommend this hotel.

Didn't have a lift which was annoying when we had just arrived, very tired, after doing a Colca Canyon trek. Also no restaurant for evening meals.

Good for the money. Right at the Plaza de Armas. View from balcony is excellent. This hotel only has 10 rooms and is small but nice. if you are only looking for a place to sleep in the center of all, this is good for you. This hotel has a nice breakfast, and you can take in the balcony ovelooking the cathedral and all the main Plaza has to offer. It is convinient to all locatios and it is very safe. Rooms are small but confy, three stoiesa and no elevator, but steps are samll and the walk is good after all the food you can eat in Arequipa. I would definetly go back. Servie was greatand people were very friendly and helpfull.

Very nice location with modern nice rooms
The location right in the Plaza de Alarmas is great as it is walking distance to main attractions and nice restaurants. The rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly.

Good location, colonial majesty in Plaza de Armas
Good location for a first night in Arequipa. The room had a lovely view of the plaza but it was noisy with street traffic as a result. The room was fresh white and grey, very tastefully decorated and everything worked well. Excellent TV reception and wifi, clean, and professional. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the plaza was a lovely location in the morning. Due to the noisy street, we couldn't stay another night, but the view and location was worth the experience for our first night. After that, we had to move to a quieter hotel in a lesser location for the rest of the week. Maybe they should double glaze their street windows.

We stayed 2 nights! We only had breakfast one morning because we left at 3:00am the 2nd morning! It was a good basic breakfast bar with bread, cheese, fruit, granola, yogurt, coffee, tea, and juice! The location was awesome! It was right in front of the Plaza de Armas- walking distance to all major sights, restaurants, and shops! The Balcony was a perfect place to people-watch! The rooms were small but as expected with any boutique hotel! I would stay there again! One negative thing: very loud noise from casino nearby on first night! The front desk told us we should've complained that night and they would've handled it! I was so tired I slept right through it!

Best location in Arequipa
My husband and I were delighted with this hotel. The location was perfect ie adjacent to and overlooking the Arequipa Cathedral & the park in the Plaza del Armas with easy access to best restaurants & premier tourist sites of colonial Arequipa. Our room was a deluxe room & was spacious & well equiped. The staff were warm & welcoming, helpful, carried our bags to and from our room which was up a few flights of stairs. Breakfast was simple but delicious and was served out on the balcony that overlooked the cathedral & park. The overriding memory was its amazing location with the cathedral lit up at night.

Un muy buen hotel en el centro de Arequipa. Previamente estuve hospedado 5 noches en el Wyndham Costa del Sol, el cual, es por mucho el mejor hotel de Arequipa. Pero este hotel (el Plaza) es más diferente, pero bueno. Habitaciones pequeñas pero cómodas, limpias y con las condiciones necesarias para descansar. Su ubicación es inmejorable.

Excelente ubicación y muy bonito hotel, construido en roca volcánica. Maravilloso lugar para desayunar en balcón con vista a la plaza de Armas. Lo único que deberían mejorar un poco es tener más caudal de agua en el baño.

Très bonne chambre confortable (un peu petite) et très propre. Lit confortable. Bon petit déjeuner varié que l’on peut prendre sur la terrasse donnant sur la Plaza de Armas. Emplacement idéal pour visiter la ville.
