A wonderful family holiday
We can't say enough good things about our holiday in this house. The house itself is lovely, comfortable, with plenty of space and in different permutations for all 11 of us, including our children, grandchildren and brother-in-law. Between the main house, and the little cabanon behind the pool, everyone had appropriate room and bathrooms. The glory of the property is the beautiful shaded outdoor dining/living area easily accessible from both floors of the house and overlooking the pool. We spent most of our time there underneath the shade trees, which were lit by strings of patio lights in the evening - eating, chatting on the couches, keeping an eye on people in the pool just through the fence. The pool itself was wonderful - heated, with a heated outdoor shower (!), well maintained by a friendly person who came 3 times while we were there to check on the PH, and clean out leaves. As if that weren't enough, there's a petanque court in the front garden - we spent a fair bit of time there competing, chatting, laughing. Also a portable badminton net, which we moved around to stay in the shade. A fabulous view of Saignon from many angles, and an easy drive to get there for breakfast at Chez Christine, dinner at Le Jardin sur le Toit, and many other delights. Fun to spend time at the Apt market. Friendly people on hand to show us around and hand over the keys to at the end. A memorable holiday. Thank you so much!

Ladies mountain bike trip
We loved this house! The location was quiet and convenient, the inside was cute and clean, we loved the pool and the family seating areas, and check in and out were easy. I highly recommend this home for a large group looking to be comfortable and close to all the this region has to offer!!

Holiday in Apt
We had a wonderful time at John & Vicky’s holiday home with our family. Very spacious with lots of outdoor dining and seating area - the pool is excellent and used most days by everyone. The location was great for us with lots of wonderful pretty hilltop villages to visit especially on market days. The house was very well equipped with all you would need. The bedrooms were light and airy and the beds very comfortable. John sent us a very comprehensive guide to the area before we arrived which we found very useful. We would have no hesitation in booking this property again in the future.

Wonderful house in Apt
The house was a great place for a holiday. Very comfortable and a wonderful outside area for relaxation for the adults and play area for the kids. The kitchen was well stocked with all amenities and the hosts were very generous with items left for the guests' use. I would definitely recommend this house to others.

Gorgeous property
We had a great time in this beautiful house. It is meticulously maintained, very clean and well equipped. The housekeepers greeted us upon arrived and showed us around. The pool was heated, which was a huge plus for my elderly parents who really enjoyed it. The pizza oven was fun to use and the outdoor dining area is amazing. We played ping pong and pétanque and just enjoyed sotting together. The area has a lot if sights to offer and is definitely worth a longer visit. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to explore the area from your beautiful house!

A brilliant house for a large family or groups of friends!
We were 3 families with children aged between 8 amd 15 and we stayed at Johns house at the end August. The house and the grounds are both very spacious and the decor inside is quirky, bright and welcoming. We loved the pool, table tennis, boules and spent most evenings sipping our wine, cooking on the barbecue whilst the children played to their hearts content. The house sits above Apt and has amazing views over to the beautiful village of Saignon. We walked there through the quiet lanes one afternoon and enjoyed ice creams and beers before our return. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking for large groups and the house is plenty big enough for 3 families to mingle yet have space for their own down time. John was incredibly helpful with lots of informative e mails before our stay. Would highly recommend this great house.

Unprepared for short holiday let
We discovered late in the booking process that there were no facilities for small children. We therefore took cots and cot bedding, highchairs, booster seat, toys etc. This was possible only because we had a campervan. There were some inflatables in the pool house. The grass was about 1foot high which discouraged ball games. The wifi took a day to get operational. The cesspit needed emptying. The pool was great. Quite a long walk down a steep hill into Apt. Great hilltop villages in the area. Supermarkets easy to access by car.

Une superbe semaine de Noël à Apt.
Nous nous sommes retrouvés en famille chez John à Apt pour la semaine de Noël. Les instructions fournies préalablement étaient très claires, l'accueil chaleureux avec en bonus un sapin et des décorations de Noël. La maison est très fonctionnelle et il y fait bon vivre. Nous ne nous sommes jamais sentis à l'étroit pourtant nous étions 13. Le sympathique cabanon séparé où 2 personnes peuvent loger est un plus. A noter aussi le superbe boulodrome. La région est splendide; nous avons eu la chance d'avoir du soleil et un grand ciel bleu pratiquement toute la semaine, ce qui a permis de bien en profiter. Nous recommandons cette location sans hésiter.

Parfait séjour dans une agreable maison
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette magnifique maison parfaitement située dans les hauteurs d'Apt avec de très jolies vues sur les colines alentour. John, le propriétaire, et Jennifer, ont été aux petits soins avec nous et ont fait en sorte que le séjour se passe à merveille. La maison est parfaitement équipée, et nous avons même pu profiter des vélos pour faire quelques escapades dans les environs. A noter que les vélos sont de très bonne qualité, ce qui est assez rare dans les gîtes en location. On reviendra tres certainement dans les années à venir!

Contact avec les propriétaires parfait. Super accueil sur place de Jennifer. Maison idéale pour notre groupe de 10 (2 familles avec enfants de plus de 18 ans) avec chacun sa place, une cuisine parfaitement équipée et nous avons même fait des pizzas dans le four à pain du jardin :)) Grosse chaleur donc difficile d’aller se promener… heureusement la belle piscine a permis de contenter tout le monde ainsi que le terrain de pétanque et la table de Ping Pong. Région superbe et petits villages voisins très sympas avec de très bonnes adresses transmises par John :) Nous recommandons chaleureusement cette maison !

Magnifique et spacieuse maison aménagée avec goût
Nous avons séjourné à deux familles dans cette très belle maison située à proximité de Apt. La très grande piscine a ravi tout le monde et l’espace intérieur a permis à chacun d’avoir son espace d’intimité. La décoration ajoute un côté très cosy à la location et la grande table extérieure permet de prendre tous les repas dans le jardin sans problème. L’escalier pour y accéder est un peu raide mais avec l’habitude, on s’y fait sans problème. Le petit bémol serait pour la salle de bain unique mais franchement, cela n’a pas du tout terni notre séjour. Séjour top au cœur d’une région qui vous promet de bien belles surprises. On recommande.

Excellent séjour
Maison idéale pour une grande famille, avec des espaces bien séparés pour chacun. Les extérieurs sont très agréables avec beaucoup d'équipements. La situation sur les hauteurs d'Apt permet d'être au calme, tout en étant proche du centre ville.

Tout était parfait dans la maison de John pour un séjour en famille! La maison est grande et bien équipée. Tout était très propre La literie est très confortable Nous espérons pouvoir revenir en été et profiter de la piscine la prochaine fois!

Tolle Ferien!
Das Haus hat alle unsere Ansprüche voll erfüllt. Vor allem die Kinder haben Pool und Garten sehr genossen. Ein wichtiger Punkt: Die Küche ist sehr praktisch eingerichtet. Generell: Das Verhältnis zwischen Preis und Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall - und der Kontakt mit John ist sehr herzlich.

Agréable séjour en famille sans petits enfants
La maison est très agréable, le terrain très grand et bien situé. La maison était propre à l'intérieur, on ne peut malheureusement pas en dire autant des extérieurs; le bbq était sale, le salon extérieur recouvert de poussières et feuilles, tables poussièreuses, table de pingpong et balançoire inutilisables. Un autre inconvénient est d'avoir la cuisine à l'étage; il faut de ce fait faire énormément de marches si on veut vivre et prendre ses repas à l'extérieur. Vu la dangerosité de l'escalier extérieur, cette maison est à éviter avec des petits enfants. Enfin, dernier bémol, il n'y a qu'une salle de bain dans la maison principale, .. la seconde douche est installée dans la buanderie (bon pour se décrotter après avoir jardiné). En résumé, la maison mériterait un rafraîchissement, un meilleur suivi et certains espaces devraient être repensés.

Une très jolie maison , agréable et chaleureuse . La piscine , entretenue et chaude ! Le top ! Seul petit bémol : une seule véritable salle de bains . Mais ça n’est pas bien grave tant l’ensemble est bien équipé et fonctionnel ! On reviendra avec grand plaisir !

Tout simplement parfait
Nous avons passé 5 jours superbes dans cette maison à la vue imprenable sur la vallée. Une semaine embellie par le soleil, entre pétanque, tennis de table et piscine, la nature nous offre de quoi être émerveillé si nous souhaitions nous balader. Des vélos sont à disposition, bref tout pour ne pas s'ennuyer. La communication, que ce soit avec le propriétaire ou la gardienne est rapide et agréable. Mes amis se joignent à moi pour recommander cette maison où nous souhaiterons retourner dans le futur !

Grande propriété sans vis à vis, très calme piscine chauffée très appréciable. J'apporte juste une précision sur la cuisine à l'étage qui peut être compliquée si toutefois il y avait une personne à mobilité réduite. Le personnel à contacter pour qques soucis ou simples questions est super gentil et très disponible. Le propriétaire est très réactif également et répond vite et fort aimablement. Tres belle semaine de vacances
La maison de John est très confortable, spacieuse bien située et très bien équipée, nous avons profité pleinement de la piscine du terrain de pétanque et des repas à l'ombre sous les arbres. John nous a fourni toutes les indications nécessaires pour que notre semaine se passe au mieux, il y a tout le nécessaire pour bien cuisiner, et beaucoup de matériel également pour les loisirs, nous reviendrons sûrement, un grand merci 😊

Très belle semaine
Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable à Apt. La maison est fraîche et bien meublée, le terrain est assez grand avec une très belle végétation. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Petit bémol : le cabanon n'est pas vraiment utilisable en l'état car il est humide et sent très fort le renfermé, ce qui supprime également l'usage d'une salle de bain. Dommage car il est joli et pratique.

Ein schönes und gut ausgestattetes Haus
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Haus sehr genossen. Das Haus ist oberhalb der Stadt Apt in einer ruhigen Gegend gelegen. Zu Fuss hat man ca. 15 min. für ins Zentrum, der Rückweg ist allerdings sehr steil. Die Küche ist sehr gut und auch für eine grössere Familie ausgestattet. Ein sehr grosser Kühlschrank ist vorhanden. Alle Schlafzimmer sind mit neuen Matratzen, Bettwäsche, Betten und Schränken ausgerüstet. Wir haben alle sehr gut geschlafen. Der Pool war ein Hit! Er war immer 27 Grad warm, herrlich für die Nebensaison. Man kann trotz kühleren Lufttemperaturen baden gehen. Rund ums Haus hat es viel Platz zum Spielen, ein neuer Boule-Platz und Ping-Pong Tisch sind vorhanden. Die Aussicht auf das Bergdörfchen Saignon war besonders am Abend sehr schön. Vom Haus aus, gibt es einen schönen Spazierweg zu diesem Dörfchen. Herr Hillier hat uns per Mail sehr gute und detaillierte Infos über das Haus und die Umgebung gesendet. Im Kühlschrank war ein Willkommenspacket mit div. Getränken um den ersten Durst zu löschen. Das fanden wir ganz toll! Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich so gut um Ihre Gäste kümmern. Frau Ato hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns das Haus gezeigt. Auch an Sie ein grosses Dankeschön. Kurzum, wir waren mit diesem Haus sehr zufrieden und würden es wieder buchen.

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Haus oberhalb von Apt mit Traumblick nach Saigon.
Das Luberon ist ein Paradies für französische Märkte, Wanderungen, Jogger, Kultur oder zum Ausruhen am großzügigen Pool.
