"We were in town for a family wedding and I reserved 3 rooms for us. My family showed up to check in and they were denied access because I was not physically present (I was coming later). Even though my wife is included in my profile they could not get in. My wife, daughter, and daughter-in-law had copies of the reservation but they would not honor them.
The desk personal (Wendy) was very rude and would not help. I talked to her on the phone and she said she would not help.
After I called Expedia customer service and spent 30 minutes on the phone they got access to 1 room - this delay caused them to be late for the wedding.
When we returned to the hotel after the wedding I went to check-in for the remaining rooms and Wendy refused to help me and told me to go to another desk worker.
The rooms I had booked that included breakfast for everyone - the next morning they announced that the kitchen would be closed.
Our experience was terrible and I did not get what I had expected or paid for.
I would like to get some compensation back for the missing breakfast and a refund of my points that I had used for these reservations.
As a Platinum their member I would expect better!"
