Nice hotel tucked away from the traffic and noise
Waasala's building was renovated about a year ago, with the new hotel using ecologically friendly materials and methods. Each room has a different theme having to do with the local culture. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the owner took the time to come talk with us twice. The properties immediately adjacent to Waasala are either older or not developed, but that didn't bother us. Much thought went into the design, which was calming and beautiful. There's a small, open-air pub on the top floor. I'd recommend staying here.

部屋数が少ないけれど、ゴージャス。部屋のネーミングのこだわり方がスリランカへの誇りを感じる。室内で流されるスリランカ紹介ビデオが洗練されている。１泊だけだったが、ディナーのスープに感動。”おいしい”とウエイトレスさんに言ったら、コック長さんが挨拶に来てくれた。 The King とThe Queenの両室には露店ジャグジーが付いているが、蚊に刺されるのが難点。小規模だから(?)エレベーターなしです。
