This is a lovely B&B very conveniently located within walking distance to town where there are cute shops and very nice dining options. Our room was large and very nicely appointed with high-quality furniture and antiques. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Jennifer and Mark are wonderful people who truly care about their guests. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely B&B. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed and immaculate. Breakfast was delicious and expertly prepared. The property is a short walk into town where there are plenty of dining options and cute shops. We took the boat trip to the Isle of May (highly recommended). The Fife hiking trail is steps away. If we ever get back this way, there is no question where we will stay!

Wonderful overnight stay at the lovely guest house. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Jenifer and Mark were fabulous hosts. Very good cooked breakfast also lots of alternative choices. Highly recommend.

The property was beautifully furnished, excellent comfortable beds and a large room, good ensuite bathroom, lovely toiletries and towels, great choice of teas and coffees, including a ground coffee. Excellent breakfast choices. Most of all welcoming and engaging hosts.

My wife and I loved staying at the Spindrift. The property was very well maintained and it was conveniently located in Anstruther. The breakfasts were great and our hosts were exceptional in everything. They provided information about local transportation, driving routes, and evening dining. They even facilitated dinner reservations for us when we couldn't find a spot for dinner. I recommend staying at the Spindrift for all who want to have a truly great B&B experience.

A very friendly and welcoming couple as hosts. A very comfortable room and a wonderful collection of framed art and landscape photography in the rooms and staircase A well stocked honesty bar and a first class breakfast service. All in all everything we would hope to have provided to us was there. Expedia advised that check in was until 7pm unless a later time is pre-arranged. We turned up just before 7pm but the hosts had called us by then because the real deadline is 6.30pm something that needs to be changed in Expedia.

We arrived in good time and were welcomed warmly! After being shown how everything worked we settled in easily. It is a very comfortable and friendly place and the owners do a superb job in looking after their guests. We enjoyed a late night drink in the residents lounge with the honesty bar, and started he next day with a superb breakfast! The quality of the food was excellent and that matched all the other aspects of the stay. This property is very highly recommended by us!

Many thanks to Jenni and Mark for their excellent hospitality during our stay. There was a very personal touch over all aspects and we felt very welcome in their property. The standard of the accommodation was superb, as was the breakfast. Great value for money. We would highly recommend this guest house.

Convenient location, easy walk to either Anstruther and Pittenween. The owners and staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Had good veggie options for breakfast which was a bonus. Rooms were clean and well decorated and the honesty bar was in the downstairs lounge is a welcome addition. Would certainly stay there again.

Great place to stay
Great place to stay if you want to travel along the coastal towns and villages. Easy parking. The place itself is lovely. Our room was spotless and comfortable and a good size. The breakfast was exceptional - including homemade cake to finish! The honesty bar is an unexpected bonus too. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended.

Anniversary trip
A very warm welcome from Mark & Jen to this fabulous property. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the location was perfect for a walk to the nearby Rockies restaurant for dinner. Breakfast the following day was very tasty with attentive and friendly staff, setting us up for an exploratory walk around Anstruther and Cellardykes.

Wonderful stay in East Neuk
This is a wonderful Guesthouse with tremendous hosts. The rooms are well appointed and extremely comfortable. Mark and Jenny go the extra mile to make sure everyone is well looked after and everything is just right. There is a lovely communal lounge with honesty bar and garden with summerhouse. Highly recommend.

This Guest House is full of character and style. It is on the Western edge of Anstruther but this means only a 10 min walk to the harbour. The coastal path can be easily accessed and it is less than half an hours walk to Pittenweem. The welcome from Jen and Mark was warm and kind. The breakfasts were great with some lovely inventive touches. We found the Spindrift a very comfortable and clean place to spend time in.

Amazing location, great breakfast, beautiful accommodation and most of all Jen and Mark just couldn’t do enough for you. Their attention to detail with everything , especially the Covid situation, just made everyone feel at ease, with their emphasis on the guests safety and well being. We will definitely be back again sometime soon and couldn’t recommend this guest house highly enough. Thank you so much for making our stay in Anstruther so memorable, we arrived as guests and left as friends. Ps the little 9 hole Links course over the road in Anstruther is a belter and certainly challenges the best of golfers, worth a look.
