It’s rare to find a family run luxury hotel but that is what the Hébé is. At one point, Dad was in the kitchen cooking breakfast, Mom was manning the front desk, Sis was waiting tables and Brother was behind the bar—all done with a smile and a “yes” to every question. “Can you print this up for us?” Yes. “Can you look after our friend’s luggage?” Yes. “May we have more coffee pods?” Yes. “Can we park our bikes here?” Yes. “Can you come up and show us how to stream into the tv?” Yes.
Our room was small but comfortable, well designed and appointed as was our little terrace—just big enough for a small table and two chairs.
Richard and I would heartily recommend staying at the Hébé where they make you feel like part of the family, not just a guest passing through.
