Very quaint and a little quirky. Excellent food, large bedroom. Although close to the road it was quiet and the village pretty. A good option if you don't want to be in the city centre. Helpful staff. One improvement suggestion would be to include a kettle in the bedroom as well as the coffee machine - especially for UK guests!

This is a lovely guest house that combines local (Salzburg/Anif) traditions with modern amenities. The staff is kind, courteous and helpful. Breakfast is delicious, with a good variety of fresh foods, and dinner (which you should reserve) is excellent.

Traditional buildings and a nice breakfast service. Dog friendly. Very convenient if you are driving and want a base for the area without entering the city. Good transport into Salzburg. Only downside was bei g on the top floor with no lift i had to carry up our large cases, fine for me but worth making sure you have a room in the main building or ground floor if you will struggle.

This is a lovely old Inn located on the outskirts of Salzburg with beautiful grounds. The back door opens to a big patio area with gardens and old trees and access to a greenbelt walking path along a creek. Even though it is located on a busy street, the Inn is quiet. The restaurant is elegant, a bit pricey and seems to be a local favorite too - serving dishes that reflect local sources. We enjoyed our 3 day stay here and would recommend to anyone not wanting to stay in busy downtown Salzburg

A real find. Restaurant is a very high quality for a reasonable price. Breakfast is amazing. Our room on October 18, 2023 was extremely quiet, and the bed was better than our bed at home.

Highly recommend this property for family traveling. Very friendly staff and very nice rooms. The free breakfast was also exceptional. Included choices of eggs cooked to order, french toast made to order. Had dinner at their restaurant (recommend getting a reservation as this place is very popular with the locals (which says a lot about the quality of the food)). Our dinner was excellent. One of the best steaks I have had in years.

The property is pretty. The restaurant is good. Breakfast was ok. We filtered on our search for elevator and a/c. There are 2 separate buildings. The building we were put in had neither. A fan was provide but it was still uncomfortably hot. Slept with the windows open. Parking was difficult. Very limited.

The property is located just outside of Salzburg in a village called Anif. Schlosswirt is a Castle property directly adjacent to the hotel. The level of service and quality of food was outstanding. The staff were very helpful in providing directions for areas of interest and the breakfasts were second to none. I cannot say enough good things about this Hotel.

A traditional Austrian hotel 2 km outside of Salzburg in a lovely quiet village. Great bus links to the city. Very clean and quiet hotel. Breakfasts are fantastic and the restaurant at night is amazing. The food is very high standard and good prices. The garden is lovely to sit in at night. Don’t bother trying to get any pics of the palace next door as you can’t. Staff are really friendly and can speak English if like me you have NO German. Would love to go back.

Can't wait to visit again
I stayed one night and wished I could've stayed longer. It is a lovely inn - the bed was so comfortable, food delicious, the staff warm and helpful. It is very easy and a quick 20 minutes to get to via bus from Salzburg. They've done an admirable job of blending a historic inn with modern conveniences. Highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is very quaint. Everything was wonderful. The property is beautiful, staff are very nice. The hotel office is closed Sunday and Monday which is a little different. Not much to eat around the hotel when they are closed on Sunday and Monday.

Area is very nice for morning run and walking. Ample parking space. Supermarket was 1km away, near by car travel. Hotel has lots of history. Breakfast is nice, service is excellent. Would be nice if there is a bar fridge in the suite room. Lots of space in the suite room.

Don’t hesitate to book this hotel. It was an idyllic stay in every sense. It’s tasteful, comfortable, and has beautiful mountain views . Only a 10 minute drive from old town Salzburg and a great location for nearby day trips. We have every intention of returning to the area just to stay in this hotel.

Annex stay disappointing.
The hotel itself appeared fine however our room was in an Annex across a busy road - this was not mentioned during booking. The staff were helpful and the restaurant food was excellent, however the location of our room meant our stay was disappointing.

The Schlosswirt with its restaurant, garden, meeting-rooms and guest-rooms and the Kramerbauer with guest-rooms and a garden. The Schlosswirt is over 400 years old and can look back on a lively history. We had an amazing stay! The front desk staff was pleasant and gave us ideas of where to eat and what to do. The hotel is perfectly situated near Salzburg but feels more pastoral right near the mountains. They have a fantastic breakfast with everything and anything you could possibly want. There are nature paths right on the property allowing you to wander in nature as desired! The rooms are well appointed and the furnishings are reminiscent of staying in a little chateau. Highly recommend!

Enchanted gardens
Great hotel and great location. They could really use some air conditioners but the fans were helpful. Loved the garden and breakfast! We liked it so much we extended our stay.

Beautiful gardens
Beautiful gardens with an amazing breakfast. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable but could use air conditioning during the hot summer months. Service and staff were wonderful and helpful. Overall, it’s a great location to see the surrounding areas and a good deal with breakfast included.
