Perfect location to watch the Iditarod.
The apartment is clean and comfortable with fun, eclectic decor. The bed was comfortable, linens nice and the ability to adjust the temperature was perfect. Lisa is an amazing hostess and her attention to detail made our stay incredible. She went above and beyond in helping to orientate us prior to our trip to ensure we made the most of the Fur Rondy. She even left out programs and maps to help us get going as soon as we arrived. In every way she made the stay welcoming and memorable.

Winter Stay
Lisa was incredibly generous in so many ways going above and beyond to make sure we were safe and comfortable. Place was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The hot water and shower pressure was amazing after walking the icy streets of Anchorage.

Cozy stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Anchorage and this little residence. The bed was comfortable. Water pressure was great. My only feedback is it would be awesome to have a slightly bigger, coffee maker. My husband and I are huge coffee drinkers, so having to make two pots was not my favorite thing, but it wouldn’t stop me from staying here again I absolutely loved it

Hidden Gem
This funky little property isn’t the easiest to find…but Lisa sent us great directions…and met us in the driveway. The apartment is a great home away from home…with everything you’ll need. It’s very close to downtown and lots of bars and restaurants. Lisa was the best host…giving us great info about Anchorage…Alaska…and stuff to do. It was a fun place to stay.

We enjoyed staying at Lisa’s place immensely. It felt like home as everything was there and ready for us. We especially loved the excellent mattress and plush carpeting. The coffee in the am was also perfect as was the refrigerator of goodies. We hope to return and will definitely stay at Lisa’s the next time.

Enjoyable apartment
Lisa has put together a nice apartment in her basement. Its a single bedroom with a full bath, living room and kitchen. Its easily enough space for 2. Pros would be the amenities, a full kitchen was nice. The back yard was cute, i enjoyed smoking at her table and looking around at all the plants and flowers, the rose to the left of the house smells great. The parking in the alley was convienient. At our request Lisa allowed us to use the laundry area and that was a big win for us as we didnt pack many outfits. Cons: Noise from the neighbors and Lisa when she was home. At times the neighbor was doing some work on a motorcycle which involved it idling and reving the engine. When Lisa was home her movements were a little noticable, not bad though. Overall we would come again.

Great place!
This quaint, clean, well appointed apartment was just as advertised. Lisa was a great host and communicated with me throughout. The place is loaded with kitchen items like pots, pans, utensils, cups, glasses, etc. Anything you need to cook with. There is fresh ground coffee and a few drinks in the refrigerator waiting for you. She is very thoughtful and makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. Comfy bed too. The WiFi can be a bit spotty sometimes but we wanted to be outside exploring more than surfing the internet so it wasn’t that big of a deal. My wife and I walked to downtown. It is less than a mile and the weather was good. Whenever we needed an Uber it was easy to get one quickly. Lisa left a map with places marked off that she suggested. We enjoyed 49th State brewery for dinner and drinks as well as AK Alchemist (much smaller place but good halibut tacos and beer). We also took an Uber down to Middle way cafe for brunch. That place was great with food options for any diet. The backyard at the apartment has all kinds of beautiful things growing and little birds coming to the bird bath. Just an all around great experience.

Home away from home
Lisa is a fantastic host who goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome in her garden apartment. We had arranged to drop off our cases early as we were arriving ahead of check-in time, and Lisa met us at the end of the alley. We had a lovely couple of days in Anchorage and at the Sea Wolf Inn. Well provisioned apartment a short walk from downtown shops and restaurants. Lots of local information provided. Responds quickly to messages 🙂

A Lot of Home
The Sea Wolf Inn was more than a “little bit of home in Alaska”, it was a LOT of home. This was by far the most comfortable VRBO I’ve ever stayed at. Would definitely stay here again !!

This was such a great place to stay. It is close enough to walk to just about anywhere you need to go. The bed was very comfortable. I slept like a rock! The host was quick to answer any questions and had town maps and information in the room for us. The host definately goes the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience there. I would definately stay here again if we go back to Anchorage.

Quaint basement apartment in a great neighborhood. Well appointed. Lisa is a great hostess and not only provides everything that you need in the apartment but lots of good advice on what to do and where to eat in Anchorage. She was a joy to talk to and made us feel quite at home.

A great place to stay
The Sea Wolf Inn is a wonderful place to stay if you prefer being in a neighborhood instead of a hotel. It has a wonderful kitchen and coffee and even some food was supplied. It is within walking distance of downtown or a short cab ride. Lisa is helpful and knows the area and a great host.

Perfect inn!
This is the most wonderful place to stay in Anchorage! Lisa is so kind and welcoming and I couldn't have asked for a better host. This inn has everything you need for your stay. We had pots and utensils for cooking, plenty of towels and blankets, and Lisa even had a midnight snack ready for me when I got in late from the airport on the first night. This inn made me feel like I was staying with family and I would recommend to anyone staying in Anchorage.

We’re two people from rural Michigan, so with little experience in larger cities, we had no idea what to expect for our first time in Anchorage. It was super helpful to be so close to a lot of the things we wanted to do for the few days we stayed. The place is super cozy and was always such a joy to come home to!

It was clean, comfortable and had a full kitchen. So we were able to have a hot homemade breakfast in the morning (saving us $$) and end the day with a hot bath to recover after our day of Alaskan excursions!

Fun Place with some History
If you like stainless steel and subway tile, this is not the place. If you like a comfortable place with some history, really convenient to downtown Anchorage and with a really nice host, this is the place.

Lisa was so great. She checked in with us before our trip to make sure everything was ready for us when we got there. The Inn was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Lisa’s place was perfect as a base for my Alaska journey. Plenty of room, lovely Alaskana furnishings and fully furnished and functional kitchen. She was helpful and flexible in accommodating me as my schedule changed on short notice. Great spot and host. Can’t imagine how nice it’ll be in summer! Five stars.

Lisa has created an affordable sanctuary that is a clean and comfortable place to return to after a day of exploring.. She has stocked the kitchen with all the necessary equipment to make your meals and the bed is a very comfortable place to retire to at the end of your day. We found her to alway be available for any questions we may have had. We would happily recommend this VRBO location.

Perfect place to escape and work and relax
This cozy little spot was just what I needed: a place away from home with all the comforts of home and none of the distractions. I needed a weekend to work on my Ph.D. courses and not have to worry about dogs, kids, or my job. Lisa, the owner, is super kind, friendly, and showed sincere consideration of my comfort and needs. Great Location and Great Host!
The facility was very clean and comfortable. The owner, Lisa, had every appliance needed to prepare food. Also, she had lots of food in the refrigerator when we arrived with all the condiments needed. The apartment is close to grocery stores, restaurants and Highway AK 1, the main thoroughfare thru Anchorage!
