“Best Value/Best Service”

Arriving in Anchorage at 2:00am, a cab was immediately available and reimbursed by the hotel. The availability of a "guest" P.C. in the lobby is a valuable extra. The staff, especially Angela, is most helpful and cheerful. Thanks, Grant and Bunny

“needs better room service needed extra coffee and sugar front desk said we had to get it ourselves.”

“Bring a coat”

The outside door to the room leaked cold air badly. The bed was well worn and not supportive, but ironically that's the way I like it.

None. Anchorage is not for the faint of heart. You better be packing if you come here.

“I will stay here again”

Very comfy bed, hot shower, great view of the port from the room window, breakfast was very good and filling, the driver who picked me up at the airport was very kind and helpful and answered my barrage of questions with a smile. The desk clerks and other staff were quick to help me and very friendly. I felt safe and secure staying here.

“Ok if you need a cheap place to stay”

This hotel did not work for us because we were traveling on serious business for a full week. The room was too cramped and the desk was way too small to do any serious work, and we could get a wireless connection in the room only 20% of the time. Also there was quite a lot of traffic noise at (planes, trains, and automobiles) which was not conducive to good rest at night or getting work done during the day. On the plus side, the staff was super, and the place was basically clean and functioning properly. It would be fine if you just need a cheap place to stay.

“OK for the price”

The place smelled like waffles 24/7. Some dude was pounding on one of the doors around 9pm and calling whoever was inside some bad names. Overall, it wasn't bad for the price. The place seemed safe and maintained well enough. You get what you pay for, so no real complaints.

“Decent, convenient location, not bad value, and a good breakfast”

This hotel was better than I expected based on some of the reviews I had seen. We chose it for the location and as other preferred options were unavailable - we had a perfectly decent and clean king room, parking and internet access, and a good breakfast. My only gripe would be the less than cheerful welcome we had from the receptionist on duty when we arrived, however other staff proved this not to be the case for all staff here.

“good hotel for the price”

good hotel, complimentary brakfast and free parking, good location, everything you need. The only drawback is that it is too close to the raiways and you can hear the trains constantly.
