Went to Amiens for the weekend. The hotel was central so we were able to leave the car in the nearby car park (9 euros for 24 hours) and walk to the places we wanted to visit. The hotel was clean and quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful. Although the room was small it was fine for a short stay. The buffet breakfast was an added bonus.

Very convenient for Cathedral & Les Jardins de Hortillonnages. Had trouble with some Room appliances: one bedside light didn’t work; coffee machine up the creak till I got concierge to fix it; safe worked day 1 but not day 2 (I wonder if it needed new battery); TV instructions not self explanatory ie just need to press TV channel button to get rid of sequence of IHG marketing. (Concierge again had to sort that out.) Not obvious I’m instructions

Great hotel ideally located
Amazing location although had issues with sat nav!very central and essy to reach most parts of amiens within minutes. Rooms are clean and modern and well serviced. Breakfast was excellant as was the service. Parking located below hotel is 9€ for 24hr!

Despite being close to a major thoroughfare this hotel was excellent. Parking under the hotel (public) was easy to access and had many spaces. Despite being a ‘cheaper’ hotel it matched more expensive and reputably better hotels.

Convenient
Good clean room, with nice fluffy towels and a good choice for breakfast. Easy walk to the train station to go to Paris. Would stay again.

Great hotel, good location
Good location and a lovely hotel. Just 2 small things. Please tell people where to park and to come to zone commercial to find the hotel. This would help a lot. Also, i commend what you are doing to save water but it makes the overall experience not great

Excellent and friendly staff with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Secure underground parking is a massive plus, located under the building for 9 euros and accessible from Rue de la Vallee (Amiens 2).

Amiens Adventure
Literally steps from the train station. Comfy stay with good breakfast. Not too far to walk to the cathedral and other main attractions of Amiens. We weren't able to check in until official check in time, which was understandable, but there was a lobby bathroom we used to freshen up.

Brilliant Staff made my day
The staff at this hotel were the nicest, most helpful staff I think I have ever encountered, and I've stayed in many hotels where service has come at a cost many times more than this hotel. I watched the staff deal with some very unpleasant characters and marvelled at their unflustered restraint. Well Done. Everything else is par-for-the-course for a Holiday Inn Express i.e. totally functional and satisfactory without being exceptional, and good value for the price. It is also well located for the city and next to the railway station. The car park is a municipal one, but is under the hotel and reasonably priced.

We really liked this property. Two issues: it was not clear that parking was not included and that it would be necessary to park in a nearby garage nor the overnight cost in the garage. It is important in evaluating logistics and cost. Second, the breakfast was excellent however the other guests, which consisted of children due to school holidays, did not always observe covid safe behaviors. I was seated at my own table on a bench seat next to a family with a child who first coughed then sneezed with his mouth open. When using the breakfast room, select the tables/seating with this possibility in mind.
