"Rooms are quite old, in a dire need of renovation - stepping into the room felt like stepping into the 1980s.
The worst part was the service - front desk staff were rude, and could use some basic training in hospitality."
"Great place, super clean, quiet, spacious with great guests and professional staff who speak English. Laundry is 500 tenge and there is plenty of space for bicycles. The rooms have AC too. Would recommend 110%"
"Fair warning this is a 3 star hotel not a 5 star as advertised. For the money there are much better options in the city.
Pros: breakfast was excellent. Atrium looks impressive. Ambience for the restaurant in the front of the property (yurt in a nicely landscaped lawn area).
Cons: hotel is tired looking and in serious need of renovations. Atrium smells of diesel fumes i suspect being used to power the glass elevators. Rooms have some tech upgrades (electric curtains, lots of light button options, tv and google alexa voice cube) however dismal air-conditioning. The coolest I could get my room was 24 degrees. They did switch my room but same story in the second room despite a visit from maintenence to check the ac.
'It's very small' as per him. Do not stay here if you prefer sleeping in a cool environment. "
"Rooms smelled sour, like backed up sewage. Breakfast quality is not as nice as it was previously. Location is nice. Spa limits access to massages and related activities are limited. "
"I would have given a better rating but my room had no curtains other than a thin white curtain. It was daytime by 4:30 and could not sleep any more. Informed the front desk in the morning and she said the rooms usually have curtains and did not know why mine did not have any. In any case it was a poor experience."
