Great Location Near the Beach
We enjoyed our stay. It was easy to walk to the beach and a short drive into town. Very quiet. Bathrooms and kitchen are updated and the kitchen has the tools you need for cooking. We called the decor "grandma's" house. It worked well just a little worn and outdated.

Nice place in Lagos
Very nice villa in a quiet area, within walking distance of Lagos. The property is as advertised in the listing, and Eugenia was great to deal with. We were met by her mom, who lives several units over in the same development. Stayed there in early Feb 2024, and we were probably the first guests for a while, because there were limited basics in the house (things like extra toilet paper, salt and pepper, garbage bags etc that usually accumulate when a place is in use). Also, it was a bit damp and cold for the first day or two as we opened it up and got some air and heat through the place. It warmed up and dried out with use. The back door to the rooftop deck was quite swollen and hard to open and close, but again, probably a result of winter dampness and lack of recent usage. Beds are comfortable, covers and blankets great, fireplace quite functional, and in general a lovely space to hang for a week. We cooked several meals in in the kitchen, and all worked as intended. Also had a couple of lovely barbecues on the fabulous built-in charcoal pit beside the pool. Nice feature. The temps were 13 at night, up to 22 during the day on the back deck area - which is a really nice sun trap on sunny days - gets quite warm. We swam in the pool twice, but it really was a bit cool given the air temps at that time of year. not a criticism at all - it was not advertised as heated and we didn't expect it to be, so all good there too. A very nice property for families.

Our family of 4 had a lovely stay at this villa. The location is perfect, it’s quiet but you can access everything easily on foot. It’s about 10/15 mins to the Marina and beach, or you can walk further and cross the bridge over to the old town where there are lots and lots of lovely restaurants and bars, this is about 20/25 mins. The villa is well kitted out with lots useful items - plenty of bedding, extra pillows, clothes hangers, glasses, Tupperware , hair dryer, literally every item you could need. It was nice and clean. The outdoor area is really nice and the pool is lovely. We cooked and ate in sometimes, there is plenty of space to dine outside and a good BBQ. There is a rooftop with nice views for an evening drink. Euginia was a fantastic host, really helpful and pleasant.

Lovely week in June
We had a really nice week staying at this villa. The pool was perfect, the house is beautifully renovated not long ago and really clean. Special mention to our hosts who were very responsive whenever we had a question! Would definitely stay again and recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday

We loved the Lagos area. Miles of beautiful beaches, great food, golf, shopping. A few things missing in the house...salt and pepper shakers, extra toilet paper, dishwasher soap and extra towels. Overall we would happily return

Terrific rustic villa in a fantastic location
Great experience. Lovely little villa with a nice, but chilly, pool. Perfectly positioned alongside the beach, marina and the Old Town so we never ran out of things to do. Recommended.

Lovely location and great host!
My husband and I wanted to spend some time in the Algarve after a group tour. Eugenia and her mother (who lives just a few doors down) we’re thoughtful, gracious and responsive to anything we needed. We had a lovely time in this comfortable house. It was winter, and we did not realize how cold it got at night (and that most homes here don’t have central heat), but Eugenia and Maria brought in more space heaters and were so kind; live and learn for us! Great location, about 1/2 mile (easy walk) to the beach—-and can see the ocean from the top terrace—- and likewise to the grocery store and Marina, with easy Pedestrian Bridge access to downtown Lagos. Would highly recommend!!! We hope to be back some day with more of our family.

Wonderful Villa
Eugenia was a wonderful host who was very helpful throughout our stay. I would recommend this Villa to anyone with a family looking to stay in close proximity to Lagos. The Villa is lovely and close by to all amenities, but far enough from the town to be lovely and quiet One thing to be mindful of though, is If you don't have a car from the airport be aware that a taxi will cost roughly €100 each way.

L’absence d’air Climatisé dans la maison a joué négativement sur le confort de celle-ci. Très humide et beaucoup de moustiques Très dommage car l’endoit est fantastique De plus les Meubles extérieurs auraient besoin de rafraîchissement

Really a Dream
This villa is really a dream. We loved the pool (the pool boy comes every week to keep it clean) and the small garden. A further highlight was the sun terrace. This nice luxury villa is really fully equipped - you only need clothes and good mood and you will have a lot of fun. The landlords are very friendly and helpful. All rooms are very large and comfortable- the living room is even huge. The villa is very close to the Meia Praia. We were happy and can highly recommend this villa.

Perfektes Ferienhaus in Lagos
Wir waren Ende April bei bestem Frühsommerwetter 2 Wochen als Familie im Haus. Es bietet 3 geräumige Schlafräume, 2 Bäder (1xDusche, 1xBadewanne), 1 Küche mit allen erforderlichen Küchengeräten, 1 großes Wohnzimmer/Salon sowie eine wunderschöne Terasse mit kleinem Garten und tollen Pool! Der Aussengrill ist nicht nur eine Schönheit, sondern wurde von uns oft genutzt und funktionierte super. Die Lage ist in einer ruhigen Wohngegend mit angenehmer Nachbarschaft. In nur 5 Gehminuten ist der riesige Strand Praia Meia zu erreichen, zu Fuß erreicht man in 10 Minuten Bahnhof und Marina sowie nach 15 Minuten die Innenstadt. Die Vermieterin war für Fragen immer erreichbar und sehr entgegenkommend, die Mutter der Vermieterin lebt in der Nachbarschaft und war sehr hilfsbereit und ebenfalls jederzeit ansprechbar (allerdings spricht sie nur wenig englisch, aber die Verständigung gelang dennoch)! Wir empfanden das Haus als echte kleine Oase und können es nur empfehlen! Die Waschmaschine haben wir gern genutzt, sie lässt wirklich das Reisegepäck schrumpfen!

Schönes Haus mit Pool, von der Dachterrasse hat man einen schönen Meerblick. Küche ist schon etwas älter und eine Herdplatte funktionierte nicht aber sonst hat es alles was man braucht.

Toller Aufenthalt, super Haus in guter Lage
Das Haus war großzügig und sauber und der eigene Pool ein Highlight des Urlaubs. Auch die Lage fußläufig Richtung Strand und in die Stadt ist sehr gut. Das Einchecken war aufgrund der Sprachbarriere etwas komplizierter, aber die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Parkplätze sind ebenfalls vor der Tür vorhanden. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist sehr gut, es gibt alle notwendigen Küchengeräte sowie eine Waschmaschine.

Heerlijk weer gehad! Ontvangst was vriendelijk maar mvr sprak alleen Portugees. Dus een hoop was gissen wat er bedoeld werd. De apparatuur in de keuken was matig. 1 kookplaat werkte niet. Nespresso apparaat lekt veel water. Weinig glazen en veel borden beschadigt. Koekenpannen slecht. Keuken op zich niet in echt goede staat. Laden die niet helemaal dicht gaan,strips die los laten. Douche afvoer liep niet goed door. Zelf wat aan gedaan. Veel stopcontacten die los zitten (in de badkamer!) 2 kapotte ligbedden, voor ons geen probleem maar als je met meer bent wel. De buiten ruimte is fantastisch. Rustige ligging maar dichtbij Lagos stad , strand en supermarkt. We hebben een goede vakantie gehad maar het huis viel iets tegen.

Wir waren schon vor 2 Jahren in dieser Anlage Frau Eugenia ist eine nette Frau hat schon auf uns gewartet alles in einen guten Zustand super Pool gute Ausstattung Küche etc. sehr geschmackvoll das ganze Haus. Die Lage ist super Strand in der Nähe Lagos schnell zu erreichen

Casa bem equipada e em bom estado. Apesar de indicado na descrição da propriedade que a casa tem garagem, a mesma não está disponível. Há bastante espaço de estacionamento na rua junto à casa.

Habitation confortable et spatieuse
Très bon séjour. Communication facile avec la propriétaire qui a été très acomodante. Logement très confortable, parfaitement équipé. Pièces amples et agréables. Parties extérieures parfaites pour le farniente avec une excellente exposition. Mobilier en bon état. Tranquilité. Partie couchage correcte. Chambres amples avec rangement avec néanmoins des lits un peu petits à mon gout. En ce qui concerne l'emplacement, tout peut être fait à pied. 10 min de la plage et de la marina. La rue est toutefois assez mal entretenue. Supermarchés à proximité (en voiture) et à 10/15 minutes en voiture de la ponta da piedade. Je recommande.

Ein schönes, gepflegtes Haus, das in jeder Hinsicht unsere Erwartungen erfüllt hat. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin ist schwierig, da man mit deutsch oder englisch nur schwer weiter kommt. Allerdings gab es auch keinen Grund vor Ort den Kontakt zu suchen.

Kommunikation mit Vermieter nicht zufriedenstellend
Ich möchte vorwegnehmen, dass wir die Unterkunft selbst nicht bewerten können, da wir unseren Urlaub aufgrund der Pandemie nicht angetreten haben. (Zum Verfassen der Bewertung mussten aber Sterne vergeben werden). Allerdings war die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter absolut nicht zufriedenstellend. Wir hatten den Vermieter einige Wochen vor geplanter Anreise kontaktiert und mitgeteilt, dass wir aufgrund fehlender Urlaubstage bedingt durch das Homeschooling und die seitens der Fluggesellschaft stornierten Flüge unseren Urlaub nicht antreten können. Auf eine Antwort warteten wir fast 2 Wochen und auch die darauffolgenden Mails wurden schleppend oder gar nicht beantwortet. Vor allem aber nicht zufriedenstellend. Fewo bestätigte uns, dass sie die Anzahlung, aufgrund der besonderen Pandemie-Umstände, erstatten würden, der Vermieter müsse das Geld dafür aber freigeben. Dies ist allerdings seitens des Vermieters nicht geschehen, da er auf die Stornobedingungen beharrt hat. Am Ende war der Vermieter lediglich bereit, dass wir auf den gleichen Zeitraum im kommenden Jahr umbuchen, was wir aber nicht fest bestätigen konnten, da unsere firmenbedingte Urlaubsplanung für 2021 erst Ende des Jahres erfolgt. Hier war der Vermieter ebenfalls nicht kooperativ oder flexibel (ggf mit Voucher für flexiblen Zeitraum). Auch im Hinblick auf die Erstattung, zumal uns Fewo mitteilte, dass die Vermieter zu Erstattungen angehalten werden in dieser Ausnahmesituation. Dass nun der Vermieter das Objekt auch noch von der Fewo-Seite entfernt hat, empfinden wir einmal mehr als dubios und wenig seriös. Auf meine Frage hierzu habe ich bis heute keine Antwort erhalten. Und unsere Anzahlung können wir somit unter Verlust verbuchen.

Ein sehr schönes Haus. Die Lage ist okay. Da wir Ende Oktober da waren ,war es doch ziemlich kühl im Haus. Es gab leider nur 2 kleine Heizlüfter und keine Heizung. Die Vermieterin haben wir leider nicht kennengelernt sondern nur Ihre Mutter. Diese hat ein paar Brocken englisch gesprochen und sonst nur Portugiesisch! Leider gab es auch keine Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin da sie sich nicht zurückgemeldet hat. Die Küche an sich war nicht die sauberste und die Dusche verstopft. Wir wurden auch darüber informiert das Freitags jemand kommt und den Pool sauber macht ( natürlich mit eigenem Schlüssel).

Toller Urlaub mit Freunden.
Wir, zwei Pärchen und ein Alleinreisender, sind erst gegen 20.00 Uhr an der Villa angekommen und wurden freundlich in Empfang genommen, da wie angekündigt, es kein Problem ist, erst später einzutreffen. Uns wurde alles gezeigt, was zu zeigen war und so hatten wir uns schnell zurechtgefunden. Das Haus ist überall super sauber und in einem super Zustand. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und man findet alles, was nötig ist. Gewürze und so weiter mussten wir uns dann allerdings alles erstmal kaufen, da war außer Salz nichts zu finden. In manchen Häusern findet man sowas ja schon mal vom Vormieter, so wie wir jetzt auch einiges zurück gelassen haben. Aber das gehört ja nicht automatisch dazu und von daher alles gut. Der einzige Kritikpunkt war, dass das Möbeliar im Poolbereich doch nicht mehr auf den neuesten Stand war. Es gab aber fünf Liegen und genügend Sitzmöglichkeiten für uns. Der Pool dagegen ist echt toll, auch, wenn wir ihn erstmal selber "reinigen" mussten, da er erst ein paar Tage später professionell gereinigt wurde. War für uns aber auch kein Problem, da ein Kescher bereit stand. Zum Strand sind es zu Fuß 10 Minuten, ebenfalls zur Marina, wo man sich Touren zu den Grotten oder auch ein Boot mieten kann. Wenige Minuten später gelangt man zur Altstadt, die uns auch gut gefallen hat. Alles in Allem war es ein gelungener Urlaub, woran auch die tolle Unterkunft beigetragen hat. Vielen Dank, Eugènia!

Fin plass,i stua luktet det gammel sigarett røyk,så der kunne vi ikke vere,solsenger å bassenget fine planter ,det var veldig fint. Spise bord og sitte gruppe var veldig slitt,revnet å råttent , veldig fin peis å grille i .

Beautiful house for a family
We just returned from our one-week vacation in this beautiful house. It had everything we needed for our family of five. The house and the garden were perfectly clean and tidy. The rooms were all spacious and cosy. We loved the salt water pool and the pretty garden. It was super quiet and peaceful. The house was equipped with everything, including dishwasher and washing machine. We did not miss anything. The house is located near Lagos (walking distance), perfect for day trips. Eugénia was a great host, who welcomed us personally even after our late arrival. She was easy to communicate with and showed flexibility regarding special requests. We highly recommend staying here with a family!

Casa perfeita para família com crianças!
Casa muito confortável, bem decorada e bem equipada, apesar de ter um frigorífico pequeno para três famílias e cuja porta fechava com dificuldade. Para além de possuir uma piscina excecional , a propriedade está situada numa zona muito tranquila para descansar e perto de todas as lojas e da praia "Meia Praia". Recomendamos esta propriedade.

Belle maison, très belle terrasse et piscine, très bon accueil.
Belle maison, très propre, spacieuse et bien équipée. Bonne situation, à l'écart du centre ville (tranquillité) mais suffisamment proche pour s'y rendre à pied. Accueil chaleureux par notre hôtesse. Nous sommes enchantés ! Seul bémol : l'eau de la piscine était trop froide pour se baigner (début mai 2018).
