“Great holiday”

My wife and I went on a spontaneous holiday in May / June 2011 and Luzmar Villas was a great place to stay. It is away from the main towns, a short drive from Luz but if you have a car you can explore the Algarve with ease. A relaxed environment away from the crowds, good food and great pool. Would go back for sure.

“Very nice hotel in pleasant surroundings”

Very nice hotel in pleasant surroundings. Staff friendly. Would say this is a family friendly hotel. If you're looking for varied and loud nightlife this is not the place for you. Car recomended.

We were there at the very beginning of April so the hotel had hardly any occupancy. Not sure what this place would be like when rammed during the summer.

“relaxing break”

Hotel was relaxing, clean, very spacious rooms, with medium fridge for water/drinks/snacks - very good idea as nothing walking distance away. Luz 20 minutes walk away and Burgau 30-40 minutes. LOVELY large clean pool but not enough sun umbrellas for all the customers. It was a nice place to stay for a few days but I would not want to be there longer than 4 to 5 days; NO Direct sea-views from most rooms, only from main reception area/ dining rooms and probably rooms above these. Great idea was having a card for the Bar where purchases are written down so you keep track of spending but unfortunately Bar/cafeteria/lunch restaurant -area was never staffed and had to go looking for staff to serve us a coffee or drink (so eventually did not bother)

“Great stay!”

Lovely,clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Bar not tended all the time so a bit of hanging about waiting on service otherwise everything was A1.

“Lovely Setting 3 star Hotel Good Value”

Mini bus could not find Hotel after one hour driving around Luz!. Very pleased upon arrival, excellent setting, good reception. No Twin Beds only 4'6 doubles, disappointment. Staff excellent. 90% German occupancy, therefore breakfast aligned to their taste. Car essential to visit other towns, beaches. Bus 1 per hour, 40 mins into Luz, 50 min to Lagos. Walk into Luz 25 mins, return trip all uphill, Taxis infrequent. Recommend two trips to Lagos interesting Town.

Good dining in Luz, as expensive as UK.Recommend Fort. Hotel did 3 course meal, 15 Euros VFM however too much of the same each evening.

“Perfect and relaxing break in Algarve”

This hotel was simply perfect. Great quality at a very reasonable price. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, dinner (all-you-can-eat buffet) is great at a very reasonbale price

A bit difficult to find, on the road from Lagos to Burgau.
What to pack
Swimming trunks, of course!
Dining
Stay at the hotel for dinner. The price is much more reasonable than any restaurant in Lagos, and the quality is definitely better

“la piscine est trop froide”

Il n'y a pas de sèche cheveux dans la chambre, pas de produits shampoing et le coffre est payant : pas très normal pour un quatre étoiles.

“Toller Service - sehr zu empfehlen”

Wir waren mit unserer 15 Monate alten Tochter für 10 Tage im Luzmar Villas urlauben. Hotel und speziell auch der Service war super. Das Personal hat immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen und offensichtlich Spaß an seinem Job. Einzig die Lage der Anlage in einem Villenkomplex etwas ausserhalb von Luz ist zu berücksichtigen, war für uns mit vorab gebuchten Mietwagen aber keine Einschränkung.

Traveller's tip
Personal ist sehr kinderfreundlich, der Pool hat kleines Plantschbecken und sehr gepflegten Rasen auf dem auch spielende Kinder gern gesehen sind.
