Pleasant easy check in. Good price for room I had. Convenient location. Would appreciate access to make Tea or Coffee in room or main office. Steep stairs are inconvenient but manageable.

NEVER STAY HERE.
This room was tiny and extremely noisy. Unable to sleep with window open and the air conditioning was dripping on me during the night. I asked for an airport transfer car at 4am - they said it had been ordered and it didn’t come. There was no one available at reception to get some help despite the fact it was supposed to be manned 24 hours. Also they asked for my payment in cash on arrival despite having my credit card. My stay was uncomfortable and expensive for the conditions. I didn’t find the staff helpful but they are probably being paid a pittance. Oh. And the toilet smelt - not nice in a tiny room.

The room was very clean and it was perfect for what we needed. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The access to the guest house is through some stairs which with luggage and a pushchair can be a little difficult. It’s only 5 minutes away from the train station. But overall it was a really great stay.

It was exactly what it said it was, a guest house so a simple room and bathroom. Clean, area was so so but only 2 blocks from the main areas of town. Free parking right out front.

Small but effective
We used this place to for a quick over nighter, we literally checked in at 9pm, slept and left at 7am the next morning. It was ideal becausenit was a.couple of minutes walk to the train station, it was also an easy uber ride from the airport (€9). It looked well maintained, check in was super quick and easy, room was very very small but clean, but you get what you pay for and this little room suited us for some where to sleep for a few hours.

The good about this gust house is location.close train and bus station The down side are walk upstair if carry heavy luggage.Stair is deep and sleepy.Room is very small and NO housekeeping. heavy traffic on street and noisy at night.Front door is keep locking so guest come in and out that disturb a lot.The front desk woman in morning shift is rude and no greeting.so if you paid 70 Euro for such condition, you better think it over.opposit of the guest house is another small hotel.stay there

It was easy walking distance from the bus and train station, which is why we chose it. Short walk into the marina and old town. Street entry wasn't easy due to the narrow stairs to first floor, with security door to let you in before you got onto level ground. The room is tiny. Okay for one night stay.

A very lovely place to stay but about 20 step to get in so be ready to carry your bags. We love the little shop on the corner it made lovely home cooked meal and very cheap.

The staff was great and friendly. Everthing was super clean. The free buffet breakfast had lots of good options. The only bad thing was the mattresses and bed supports in our room which should have been replaced 10 years ago. both of our mattresses were bad and sagged significantly in the middle—which put a lot of stress on our leg and shoulder joints causing us aches and pains in the morning.

There is a misunderstanding for sure, first of all we are Sao Filipe Guest house located in Faro, we don’t have breakfast service and ours mattresses are frequently changes, certainly you've been staying in another place.

Let me start with positives:- Location:- Almost inside city center Air conditioner:- I was not expecting an air conditioner in this price but got one Staff:- Was very nice and friendly Clean room Clean toilet and bathroom. Blankets were provided for both of us. Very close to the beach area as well Cozy rooms Super markets and cafes very closeby Wifi was also available and working nicely everywhere. Negatives:- Rooms and toilet were little smaller than expected(But you get what you pay for) They had no option for breakfast and only black coffee. (But you can go to the cafe downstairs and get everything there) Suggestion by staff:- The staff suggested a restaurant called as Adega Nova, we had a pathetic experience there. May be the staff have had some good experience with that. So nothing much to say there. We tried Pasta vegetariana there and we got boiled vegetables and boiled pasta there, no cream, no sauce and no cheese at all. Overall, I would say, it was a nice experience. I would recommend this place for 1 day or 2.

This place was very easy to find. There is a big sign on road and very close to station. I walked to and from station. Place only acccepts cash. The room was relatively small with a private bathroom. The place is old and very clean. The only minor things that bothered me is you can hear the doorbell ring at night and noise from the street. No shampoo or conditioner are provided so bring your own

The family room is unexpectedly small and cramped, we cant even open up the luggage in the room. The toilet is painfully small as well and the water in the bath tub is heavily clogged!! imagine bathing while your legs were flooded with water! The location is reasonably near to the main train station and to tourist spots.

Nice guest house in Faro centre
My room was very clean and comfortable, with all the useful freebies, even cotton make-up pads and a shoe-shining cloth! The hotel has a Terrace which has no special views, but lots of comfortable seating. Location is great, as it's a 3 minute walk away from the centre where there are many restaurants, bars, live music and pretty churches and cathedrals. There's a mini-mart just opposite the hotel, and a few cafes within 50m where you can get a nice simple breakfast and good coffee. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area, however not with taxi or travel recommendations.

Very clean place!
Very clean hotel. Small rooms and bathroom and pretty noisy because of the cars on the street, otherwise not bad! Staff could speak more and smile more. They are respectful though. I would recommend the place for max a couple of nights. Great location as well near the train station.
