Direct sea view from balcony, space apartment. Nice ladies at reception. Everyday cleaned. Kitchen could has been a little bit better equipped (pan, wine screwer, washing tools).

The Staff (especially Soraira) were just lovely and accomodating with our asks - they let us store our luggage and use the pool in the afternoon on our check out day - they couldn't have been more wonderful - great location too - not too far from the beach and old town; pool is a great added touch; room a little dated but overall it was great

It was a horrible experience, cockroaches everywhere, very rude receptionist, no hot water, no shower, really really bad experience , It was a complete nightmare

I loved the location. Front clerks were amazing. The door (to open) and the shower head needed fixing but they sent a maintenance guy as soon as possible. Apartment is very big. Lots of room.

Staff were all helpful and friendly, i have a feeling the thought, we were young brits just there to party as we had to pay a €100 deposit each in cash informed of the rules. The main two being, noise and no visitors after 10pm. I'd stay again, the hotel was a little dated but for the price it was perfect and had everything we needed. The pool is a really big size so you can get your morning swim on if the sea doesn't take your fancy. It is only a 10 minute walk into Albufeira Old Town and to the seafront so the location is perfect.

Good stay! Staff were pleasant and lovely. The flats were big and spacious. You could tell that they had tried to renovate recently but some areas still looked old. Not dirty but just old. But I’d still happily go back! Location was great too. 5 mins away from the beach!

Have been going to this hotel for the last four years. The location is good, easy walk to the beach and the old square with its bars and restaurants. Hotel staff are friendly, rooms are cleaned every day

Great location, apartment updated except for the bathroom. Quiet apartment complex and although it wasn’t an issue for us some people were complaining about the lack of sun loungers around the pool.

Friendly staff
Very clean hotel and rooms. The best things were the friendly staff and view from the hotel. Grounds were well maintained. Rooms in excellent condition. A few local bars and a spar by the hotel and the old town around 10 mins walk. Would stay here again if in the area.

We stayed here for six nights in September . I have to say the staff was excellent. Sofia went out out her way to help us with booking train tickets and answering all our questions. As well all the other staff we came across were very accommodating. The hotel location was an easy walk down to the main beach area. There is a very good restaurant around the corner on the way to the beach . Incredible specials every night and friendly. The only negative we had was we booked garden view rooms . I would suggest if you do request garden view not to have rooms 001 to 005 as you enter these through the basement. Pool area very nice and lots of room and chairs. We would stay here again Rob and Jen Canada

The hotel and location are fabulous! The only drawbacks were the lack of aircondioning in the rooms. It probably wouldn't have mattered except that we were there during a very hot spell. The 2 girls on recepton were wondrfulm

A very pleasant experience!
We spent the month of March at thr Almar Apt/ hotel for the first time. The staff is very friendly, accommodating and helpful; couldn't ask for better!! The hotel is in an excellent location! It is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen could use some updating; we heard it is in their future plans. We will definitely return

Spacious rooms close to the old town and beach.
The friendly and professional staff are a joy. The rooms are large and comfortable, It is not a luxury hotel but they have all the necessities, there is a two element cooktop and small fridge but only a microwave oven. The beds are very comfortable. There are many good restaurants in close proximity. All requests we made of the staff were handled immediately in a very professional and friendly manner. There are no laundry facilities available which would be a plus for longer term stays. Should I return to Albufeira I would definitely consider another stay at the Almar.

The service was very good and friendly. The apartment was very clean but the smell of damp was not pleasant. The furnishings are tired and a little stained. It's the kind of place I would have stayed at when I was on a girls holiday years ago but no home comforts.

Great Hotel For Couples/Families
We were a group of 10 males aged between 30 and 50 on a Stag Party. We wanted to be close to the bars, restaurants and beach in the Old Town, so The Almar was perfect at just a 10 minute walk. Before booking I had read reviews that it was very quiet, and on reflection The Almar was not ideal for a Party such as ours. It was indeed very quiet, and as a group booking we had to pay a €50/pp deposit to cover not only damages, but also excessive noise. Having said that, the hotel staff (in particular the female staff on reception) we truly excellent. They were helpful, funny and friendly at all times. I would absolutely without doubt recommend The Almar to any couples/families, and whilst we had an enjoyable stay it isn't really ideal for groups of friends. It could do with WiFi in the rooms too...

We went pretty hard on the first halve of our trip so we were happy to have this comfortable hotel to recupe at. Decor and furniture were pretty modern but the kitchen is a bit dated. No wi-fi in the rooms just to note

I stayed with my two teenage daughters, was very pleasant. Bath was not great, shower was broken and no hairdryer. Also not very many sun beds and only two sun umbrellas.

Chambre avec balcon spacieux avec vue mer magnifique. Lit trèa dur. Pas de climatisation dans la chambre mais ce n'était pas nécessaire à la fin septembre. Aucun café ni petit déjeuner disponible avant au moins 9h le matin dans les alentours. Apportez-vous à manger si vous voulez petit-déjeuner tôt. Petite épicerie/dépanneur SPAR pas loin. Dépôt de 150 euros par personne en argent liquide seulement au check-in donc n'oubliez pas d'apporter du cash. Stationnement gratuit dans la rue et facile de trouver un espace.

Es un apart aceptable, tuve que alquilar un ventilador viejo y pagar extra €3 x día después de pagar €119 x día. Hemos matado 3 cucarachas luego de perseguirla.la piscina muy bien. Esperaba mucho más por 3*** solo aceptable
