The room was clean and tidy and staff friendly and helpful. Hot water service in our room needs either an upgrade or some work as it was very noisy with the basin tap and you didn’t need to use cold water in the shower. But it was still plentiful, providing ample for 2 showers and certainly did the job. Would have no problem staying here again next time I’m needing accomodation in the area.

Stayed here for one night while driving the Great Ocean Rd. Great location and very friendly staff. The bed was on wheels which can be an issue if your partner is a restless sleeper.

The motel is near the Lighthouse and the main attraction. But the place is old and need to be refurbished. They need to provide more cutlery and bowls for customers to use. The staff do not replenish the tea/coffee/sugar samples if it is finished. The TV in our room do not work. We tried to call after hours number and we could not reach anyone 5 pm to 8pm). Customer service is very poor.

We are so sorry you had this experience. Our office is staffed between 9am till 5pm and after hours there is a number to call which is on the window at reception. We have just the last couple of weeks, taken over the business and have some exciting plans for the future. We endeavor to improve in all aspects.

Lovely place but the lack of toaster, plates etc due to staff shortages and the need to request them the day before was a bit confusing.

Hello Norman, as a result of Covid-19, a number of items that used to be in the guest rooms were removed for the health and safety of our guests but they are available upon request. This was stated in the same email that you received about your room and parking information. It's a shame that you found this confusing. We are always happy to supply these during your stay.

Hello Semra You booked a two night stay with us but after a few hours, you decided to check out citing a bad smell in the room. In fact, you said that the smell was so bad that your partner had a medical episode. You wanted a refund for the second night which we declined. Despite the seriousness of your partner’s condition, you did not call an ambulance. In fact, your partner was sitting behind the wheel while you were in Reception talking to us. As soon as you left, we went to your room to check. There was no bad smell; the bed was well used and the wine glasses were used, put back on the shelf unwashed. You then telephoned and emailed us demanding a refund threatening that if a refund was not granted that you would write a bad review. We are appalled by your behaviour.

Great, affordable hotel
I arrived late, which was fine, because the hotel sent an email in advance detailing my room number, where to find it, key access, etc. Very helpful. The room itself was super clean, well-maintained, a pleasure to stay in. I only stayed the one night due to my travel plans, but it was well worth it.

Simple Motel which fit our needs. Check-In was online and easy. Beds were comfy! You can hear the bathrooms from either side but besides that a nice little place!
