Nice room but too noisy to sleep
Bed was comfortable and room was a good size and clean which is more than I can say for the corridor carpet. The restaurant wasn't open just the cafe with bar food. Staff were friendly but there was a lot of noise from other rooms. The hotel is housing some refugees. There was also a very loud buzzing noise from the water tank every time any room turned on a top or flushed a toilet which happened every few minutes making it impossible to sleep. Hence the low star rating

Very picturesque nestled in the mountain side of Agros and great to get away from the heat of the cities, The hotel is amazingly good quality for the price. I’m so surprised it is a three star rather than four star rating. The guy at reception greeted us with amazing hospitality.

We stayed there for four nights. The hotel is clean and friendly staff. The breakfast in the morning had a good selection The reception always had a warm vive to it We did not use the hotel restaurant The only small criticism I would have is in the breakfast room they should organise the tables better and not in long rows like a school lunch room.

Good 3 star hotel.
We booked this hotel as an overnight stay whilt exploring the mountain region. Staff at reception ok, no real welcome and a lack of information offered, we had to ask. The hotel seemed empty but there were clearly other guests there. It was difficut to see what was open. The room was comfortable and functional, however there was a lack of plugs. The bed was large and comfy. We had a room with an updated bathroom, very nice. Service at rhe bar and restaurant was excellent. Food was good with ample choice. The gardens are beautiful as is the setting, high up on a hillside. couple of hundred meters walk takes you to a shop and a few tavernas. There is not a lot to do nearby. Overall the hotel is spacious and a good 3 star, has been here a while, lots of bits have been modernised. Would stay again if in the area.

No privacy at room
At 9 o clock in the morning the cleaner she wake up us with knock the door to open her because she wanted to change the bath carper. We open and she want to get inside because it was important as she say.. i gave her what she want and she left. At 9:30 we left the room for the breakfast and we add outside the door the label to not entrance in the room. After we finish our breakfast we found the bath craper in the bathroom ...

A really nice stay
We had a nice stay. They have spent a lot of money renovating the hotel and our son enjoyed the pool, football and basketball courts. The rooms felt modern and clean. All the staff were very friendly and polite. Only thing we found strange was we ordered our food and drinks but had to wait 40 mins for our drinks to be served with the food. The hotel could be making more money if they serve the drinks whilst you wait for your food. We would likely have had another couple of drinks if we’d got our drinks first. The food was very good for the price.. compliments to the chef. We had chicken souvlaki and carbonara.. it was delicious

We asked for a double bed and got two singles without prior notice . Once in the room the towels were dirty, fortunately enough the service was good and they were changed immediately. Nevertheless, later in the night when we turned on the air-condition it started dripping water on both ends, on the floor.

“Renovated “? & bad management
The hotel was suppossingly renovated. However, the room we got ( no. 235) all furniture( except the Very very uncomfortable armchair) was old.So were the rules And the bathtube in bathroom. The balcony had Eood&metal bars, while on the front side of the hotel the balconies had Glass fronts. Also, our room had no decoration, no carpets or Any color or attempt to “dress up the place”. Our room was nothing like the pics on hotels.com. Check-in was delayed 3 hours due to the big flow of turists And And our room not being ready. No compesation was offered ( eg a coffe while waiting) And the reception stuff was quite rude with some of the angry tourists waiting for their rooms. Breakfast was average. I would DEFINITELY not stay there again.

Overall, service facilities and location of the hotel were good. However, the rooms are not soundproof either internally or externally and you can hear the noise from the corridor / adjucent rooms as well from outside. This is uncomfortable. The quality of beds / matress / pillows could be better for the hotel's rating.

It was good
Rich breakfast, nice location of the hotel. Beautiful surroundings. It was a relaxing getaway although bed was uncomfortable. Matress needs change. If it was more comfortable, it would be the great experience.

We have stayed here previously, some years ago and also have called in for meals etc when in the area. Although a lovely hotel the service in reception and waiting staff are not up to the standard expected nor as good as previously. Housekeeping is excellent.

I cannot recommend Rodon enough... the building is gorgeous and newly renovated, beautiful and classy. The pool (while cold) is in a beautiful setting with a cafe and toilets. The rooms (we had a family room) were beautiful, clean and modern. Although I would have been a little uncomfortable with the glass balcony of I had kids with me, the view was unbeatable. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty (you must try the rose squash which is famed in the region). Dinner buffet was okay - on Sunday, it was varied and great, on the Monday was a little disappointing given it was €14 per person. Generally however, a beautiful resort in a beautiful part of Cyprus
