Up a steep hillside, unusual breakfast style ...
beware!!! This hotel is on top of a steep hillside. We arrived at the post and NO taxi driver would take us up there! We called the hotel at our expense and the owner thought it funny! My husband didnt! She gave us a taxi number to call to get up there... 1.5 hours later he showed up.. Such a pity she didnt think to alert us to this fact and give us the phone number ahead of arrival! This hotel has 5 cats the owner reminded us that it was their family home.. so we had to keep the door onto balcony closed otherwise they would come in and husband is very allergic.. Not sure what the plan was at breakfast it was really what they brought you.. I was Gluten free so limited choice ... you never really knew what would be served which was a bit off putting. The Ukranian ladies were very sweet and happy to try and undertsand, they couldnt speak much greek or Ukranian and their English was limited so we used google translate into Ukranian. This stay was challenging... and for the price we were disappointed.. Don't book this hotel without a car the road is rather challenging to tourists (not to locals, unless a port taxi in a Merc!).

It's a good idea to read the amenities and reviews and choose hotels that can cater to people based on personal sensitivities and idiosyncrasies!! We are sorry that you had a hard time on the uphill road to the hotel, surely to enjoy the magical view you go up the hill and maybe that was difficult for you, but the road is everywhere cement and asphalt! The cats you saw in the garden are all vaccinated and dewormed, we take care of them and love them and they make sure to keep away all these animals of the wonderful Greek nature, because yes this is their home!!!! And the hotel is in nature!!! For your transfer to the hotel, we are told that it is done for a fee! Your wait at the port is not the responsibility of the receptionist you spoke to with extreme rudeness!!! If you had made sure to make a reservation the taxi would have been waiting for you at the port on your arrival and you would not have had this waiting time until you were served . Regarding the Ukrainian employees, you are right, we are sorry that it was a bit difficult for you to communicate, but the Municipality of Aegina and many professionals from Aegina, we have set up a network of help to the Ukrainian people who are affected and suffering from the war, giving them work and hospitality the people. We are sorry if this prevented you from enjoying your luxury stay!

The hotelier told me when I arrived that the hotel was shut owing to a covid outbreak, and that she would take me to a different hotel instead. (I am familiar with the hotel she wanted to send me to and it is not somewhere I would be willing to stay because it’s not nice eniugh). I said I’d like a refund and would find my choice of hotel instead (the one she suggested is nowhere near of equivalent standard or price). She then said she’d actually lied and there was in fact no Covid, but her hotel was just too quiet for my stay to be worth her while economically. She said that if I insisted on not going to the nasty hotel she would not refund me and would tell Expedia I had failed to turn up (even though I had taken a photo of her to prove my arrival.) This hotel should be removed from Expedia because the hotelier is dishonest - her behaviour was genuinely shocking. It’s clear she’d done a deal with the grotty hotel to take me there, pay them their lower rate and trouser the difference. Avoid booking here at all costs! I still don’t have my money back and had to pay for my stay in an alternative hotel.

The perfect choice
A fabulous hotel with incredible sea views and the surrounding countryside. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Staff here are amazing. We will definitely return.

Our favorite in Greece
The location is beautiful and an easy bus and ferry ride from Athens. The family atmosphere, welcoming of guests, excellent breakfast and other meals are all wonderful. We have returned many times.

Beautiful views
We loved this quiet and luxurious hotel on the mountain top with its beautiful views, majestic pool and excellent breakfast. The staff was spectacular and the rooms were modern and comfortable. The road to access the hotel is not very easy to climb up by car nor by foot. You do get used to it after a few days though. Also several taxi drivers may refuse to take you up there given the tight dirt road leading up to this wonderful hotel.

Not what was expected.
Although called apartments and suites our room had barely enough space to walk around the bed. Breakfast buffet had little choice and most not healthy. Our in room tea and coffee making facilities consisted of 2 tea bags for the full week which were never replenished. No other food was on offer and the promised transfers to and from the port never materialised as the staff were to busy. I cannot fathom why as there were no other guests.an idyllic location was the only saving grace but do factor in the cost of transport as you cannot reach this hotel without it.

Great service at an excellent location
Hotel is great, location is perfect on top of one of the many hills and at 10 mins driving from the Marina (where the ferry arrives). Staff (owners) are very helpful in arranging all kinds of additional needs (rental car etc), they were great with our two children. Pool is a nice size, with towels, beds etc provided. Our room did not have a bath which was a pity (it had a shower) but I understand this varies from room to room.

Πρόκειται για ένα εξαιρετικό κατάλυμα με φοβερή θέα. Παρότι δεν είναι δίπλα στη θάλασσα βρίσκεται σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία καθώς μα αμάξι είναι ένα δεκάλεπτο από την χώρα, και σε κοντινή απόσταση από τις παραλίες του μαραθωνα και της αιγινιτισσας. Πολλά μπράβο τόσο για τις εγκαταστάσεις όσο και στο προσωπικό.

Super udsigt og skønt lille hotel.
Da vi kører i taxi op mod hotellet, tænker jeg hvor bliver vi ført hen. Der er mørkt, næsten ingen huse, vejen er stejl. Da vi kommer op til hotellet, møder der os den skønneset udsigt, ud over vandet, helt over til den oplyste havneby Piræus. Dejligt rent og velholdt hotel, med smilende og sødt personale (ikke alle talte engelsk). Vi spiste kun en gang på hotellet, den sidste dag. Maden var pragtfuld mad.Vi fortrød, vi ikke spiste der mere.Men nød den dejlige morgenbuffet, hver morgen.Stor dejlig swimmingpool, skønne liggestole, parasoller til dem der ikke er til så meget sol.Alt i alt et dejligt sted, jeg gerne vil besøge igen.

Panorama udsigt
Højt beliggende med fantastisk udsigt. Et "hidden gem" som er - ja svært at finde. Vejen derop er vanskelig og meget svær at finde, men belønningen er et pragtfuldt sted med alt den luksus du kan drømme om
