2 weeks near Catania
Property very tastefully furnished, friendly hosts (who speak very little English). OK for 2 people, would be a bit tight for 4. Major issues with swimming pool (out of action for 5 of our 14 days), with water pressure (20 mins for shower to warm up and then only a dribble), extremely loud and frequently barking dog. Although located in a side street it is adjacent to a major road - plenty of traffic noise during the day. Location convenient for Etna and the sites on the east side of the island.

Thanks for your comment for us very important.We had some problems with the pool,he algae annoyed us a little,tuttavia abbiamo fatto tutto il possibile per risolvere il problema il prima possibile,as far as water is concerned we are very sorry about this,in Sicily it is very hot this year the water pressure has been low,we called a technician is put a stronger engine to solve this problem.The SS114 national road is not far from therefore it is normal to warn of noises or other,in order not to feel anything it would be necessary to take a house completely isolated and far from the urban center,However we will always treasure your review,so that we can always improve where possible...

Tucked away Gem
Although in a village, the apartment manages to be tucked away down a small road, completely out of sight. The hosts are marvellous and easy-going and nothing was too much trouble for them. Not only that but Gisella cooked us a fantastic meal one evening. Lovely pool too.

Nice house in Etna area
Nice house with a special outdoor area and pleasant swimming pool with beautiful views of Mount Etna. Lots to see and do in the area within a 45 minute drive: Catania, Taormina, Etna. Friendly and helpful owners. Need a car for shopping and eating out. Located on a main road. You hear that, but it is not annoying. Friendly and helpful owners.

Wunderschön!
Wir waren 2 Wochen dort und sind schwer begeistert gewesen. Absolut freundliche Gastgeber und eine MEGA schöne Anlage. Freiluftküche plus eigener Outdoorbereich haben die relativ kleine Wohnung mehr als wettgemacht. Denn, bei dem Wetter ist man ohnehin nur zum Schlafen in der Wohnung. Eine Oase die wir so tatsächlich nicht erwartet haben mit einem Pool inklusive Sprungbrett. Absolut zu empfehlen! Nochmals: vielen Dank!!😃😃

Sehr charmantes Objekt
Das Objekt ist darauf ausgelegt, dass man sich vorwiegend in Freien aufhält. Leider liegt es in einer sehr hässlichen Straße, die man aber nicht sieht. Strand ist sehr weit weg und Ende September ist schon viel zu. Lage ist gut für Ausflüge. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Vermieter sprechen leider nur Italienisch

Vielen Dank für die Bewertung,das Grundstück liegt im Grünen und die Straße scheint mir keine besonderen Probleme zu bereiten,Es ist eine von Bäumen gesäumte Allee und ziemlich breit,Das Haus liegt auf einem Hügel und das Meer ist 2 km entfernt.Ich bestätige, dass das Haus für den Sommer konzipiert wurde

Appréciation mitigée
La maison est très bien située, proche des grands axes et donc de plusieurs endroits à visiter. La piscine et la vue sur l'Etna sont le tout gros atout de la location. Les hôtes sont charmants et serviables. Mais le logement devrait absolument être rénové. Le lit parental est bien trop petit et le matelas doit être changé. La douche pose régulièrement problème (pression, eau chaude) et la cuisine extérieure, curiosité sur le papier, manque d'équipements, d'entretien et attire les fourmis! Nous avons été déçus d'autant plus que l'autre logement de la maison est bien plus moderne et confortable (cuisine équipée, grand lit, divan).

Je suis vraiment désolé de vous avoir déçu,mais l'annonce est très claire,la maison est un petit logement avec une cuisine ouverte,pour apprécier le jardin et la piscine,le mobilier est tout moderne, neuf et actuel,la salle de bain parfaite et en ordre,bien sûr, nous parlons d'un ameublement simple, rien de luxueux,cette année l'eau est plus rationnelle et donc parfois ça vient pas vraiment fort,C'est malheureusement comme ça,en tout cas merci pour vos conseils nous essaierons de le chérir

klein, aber sehr gemütlich
der Innenbereich ist sehr klein, dafür gibt es einen tollen Außenbereich + Schildkröten im Garten. Küchen- und Essbereich draußen aber überdacht... genau das richtige im warmen Sommer. Großer Pool mit Liegestühlen und exklusivem Blick auf den Ätna. Wir waren zu viert und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr nette Vermieter. Gerne wieder!

Kleine Ferienwohnung großer Garten Pool
Wir waren für einen Familien Urlaub in der Wohnung Luna. Die Wohnung hat alles, was nötig ist und wir haben uns bei Guiseppina und ihrem Mann sehr wohl gefühlt. Innen ist die Wohnung klein und man hat Esstisch und Küche draußen. Das Aussengelände, das zur Nutzung zur Verfügung steht, ist sehr großzügig und der Pool ist gepflegt und sauber. Die Kinder haben sich zudem über die Schildkröten gefreut. Die Lage ist für Ausflüge nach Taormina, zum Ätna und in umliegenden Städte super. Uns hat die Straße, welche eine Ortsdurchfahrt ist nicht gestört, zumal es nachts ruhig war und wir viele Ausflüge tagsüber gemacht haben. Man muss wissen, dass es keine chicke Wohnung, sondern eine entspannte und originale Location ist! Alles in allem war dies einer der besten Urlaube. Vielen Dank an unserer Gastgeber für ihre charmante Art!

Lovely house
We had a fantastic week in this lovely house. The pool area was great and the pool was both large and deep. The kids loved swimming in the pool, and there were many lovely lounge areas. Extra cozy to be able to sit and watch the volcano Etna in the evening. Fantastic hosts who made sure we enjoyed our stay.

Klein aber fein - bei schönem Wetter
Wir waren zwei Wochen in diesem schönen Feriendomizil. Wir waren zwei Familien mit jeweils zwei Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern. Das Haus und besonders der Garten sind sehr schön. Besonders der Pool und die Schildkröten haben die Kids glücklich gemacht. Beide Wohnungen sind eher klein. Da wir erst im Oktober dort waren, waren einzelne Tage und Abende doch schon zu kalt zum draußen sitzen… Für uns war auch die Küchenausstattung etwas zu beschränkt, da wir im Urlaub gerne selbst kochen. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich. Die Lage ist sehr gut für Ausflüge zum Ätna, an den Strand und in verschiedene schöne Städte der Region.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung

Tolle Unterkunft mit tollen Vermietern.
Nachdem unsere eigentliche Unterkunft, 4 Tage vor Ankunft vom Vermieter wegen einer Covid-19 Infektion storniert wurde. Dachten wir schon das der Urlaub ins Wasser fällt. Spontan buchten wir also bei Guiseppina. Leider verpassten wir auch noch unseren Anschlussflug und kamen somit einen Tag später an. Nach einer kurzen E-Mail mit unserer neuen Vermieterin, war alles geklärt. Wir möchten uns hiermit auch unbedingt bei Guiseppina und ihrem Mann bedanken, ihr seid super Vermieter. Wir haben uns sehr wohl bei euch gefühlt, vielen Dank. Ihr habt unseren Urlaub gerettet. Bleibt gesund, ciao.

Dans un cadre paisible et verdoyant, petite maisonnette très bien située avec au loin une vue de l'Etna. Giuseppina discrète et disponible si besoin. Nous avons passé une semaine reposante. Bon point de départ pour visiter quelques sites sur la côte ouest.

Séjour fabuleux
Giuseppina et son époux sont fantastiques, très accueillant, et ont un vrai sens du beau. La location "Sun" est superbe avec de grands espaces extérieurs (4 tables différentes pour manger, on changeait suivant l'heure du jour), des transats et chaises partout, une superbe piscine (avec une partie profonde en plus), et aucune gêne. Il y a une autre location ("Moon"). Mais elle est située de l'autre côté de la propriété, donc aucun dérangement, chacun chez soi. Pour visiter la région, on ne pouvait rêver mieux.

Wunderschöne sizilianische Unterkunft mit toller Vermieterin
Wir waren fast eine Woche in der Unterkunft die mit den Fotos komplett übereingestimmt hat, wobei eher war die Location in Echt weitaus noch toller. Die Wohnung selbst ist nich sehr groß, aber völlig ausreichen da der Küchenbereich außen liegt. Wir waren von der Größe des Außenbereiches, welcher uns zur Verfügung stand, sehr überrascht und angetan. Es war absolut authentisch und für uns die tollste Unterkunft die wir bisher hatten. Überall kleine loungige Ecken und Sitzplatz Gelegenheiten. Der Pool war toll und auch da konnte man überall liegen oder sitzen. Brötchen gibt es in 2km Nähe. Schräg gegenüber gibt es eine Pizzeria die absolut zu empfehlen ist. Ebenso direkt am Straßenende ein Brunnen der Wasser vom Ätna bereithält und heiß begehrt ist beim abfüllen von Flaschen. Wir haben Ausflüge zum Ätna, nach Catania, Taormina und Alcantara Schlucht übernommen die in ca 30-60min erreichbar waren. Vor der Tür direkt der Parkplatz. Die Vermieterin und ihre Familie ist großartig und hat uns auch versucht bei Problemen mit der Mietwagenfirma zu unterstützen. Ebenso hat sie auch unsere Handtücher, die zum Trocknen draußen stand, unter das Dach gestellt als es plötzlich zu regnen anfing und wir nicht da waren. Unsere Kinder und wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gern noch länger geblieben. Unsere Kinder fanden auch die Schildkröten toll, die direkt vor der Wohnungstür ihr Zuhause hatten. Wir können die Unterkunft absolut jedem empfehlen der es typisch sizilianisch mag und auch etwas ruhiger. We were almost a week in the accommodation with the photos completely agreed, but rather the location in real was far better. The apartment itself is not very big, but quite adequate because the kitchen area is outside. We were the size of the outdoor area, which was available to us, very surprised and pleased. It was absolutely authentic and for us the greatest accommodation we have ever had. Everywhere small loungy corners and seating occasions. The pool was great and also there you could lie or sit anywhere. Rolls are in 2km proximity. Diagonally opposite there is a pizzeria absolutely recommendable. Also right at the end of the road, a well that holds water from Etna and is in great demand when bottling bottles. We took trips to the Etna, to Catania, Taormina and Alcantara gorge which could be reached in about 30-60min. In front of the door directly the parking lot. The landlady and her family is really great!

charmante location
Giuseppina et son mari nous ont accueilli dans un lieu superbement aménagé avec plusieurs espaces qui vous permettrons de trouver l'endroit idéal à chaque moment de la journée (le petit déjeuner face à l'Etna, un bonheur…). Les 2 locations sont suffisamment distantes pour se sentir chez soi (la notre était au rdc de la maison des propriétaires et la seconde au fond du jardin). Seul bémol, nous avons été gêné par la proximité avec la route nationale. Le logement est très bien adapté pour une famille de 4 personnes, une amélioration serait à apporter concernant les baies vitrées de la chambre qui nécessiteraient des rideaux occultants. Nous avons subi des disfonctionnements avec la pression et la température de l'eau, j'espère qu'avec tous les efforts déployés par le propriétaire, ils seront rapidement résolus. Le remplacement du linge de maison après une semaine nous a été proposé. Le logement est très bien situé, une pizzeria à 150m, des commerces à 1.5km et un supermarché à 3km. La plage située à 5km est une plage de gros galets pas très facile avec des enfants. Très bien placé également pour les visites de l'Etna, Catane, Taormine, Syracuse .... un séjour de 10 jours que nous n'avons pas vu passé...

Prettig appartement met veel privacy en mooi uitzicht op de Etna
Mooie accommodatie, veel ruimte en privacy! Lekker zwembad en gastvrije benadering. Hele prettige dagen gehadven zeker een aanrader. Het dorp zelf is een doorgaande weg. Je kunt er niets. Echt een auto nodig om ergens te komen.

Posto fantastico, vacanza perfetta
Abbiamo trascorso una settimana in questa struttura con 2 bambini di 7 e 9 anni. Posto perfetto per visitare Catania, l’Etna, Taormina, ecc. Proprietari discreti e gentilissimi. Pulizia e cura ovunque anche in giardino. Piscina ottima per un tuffo pomeridiano dopo una giornata di visita. Sicuramente da consigliare e potendo da ritornarci.

Une très belle maison et des hôtes accueillants et très disponibles
Nous avons passé une très belle semaine de vacances en famille au coeur de cette belle maison. Notre location se composait d'un espace nuit avec un lit double et un lit superposé (idéal pour un couple et 2 enfants) et d'un très bel espace exterieur composé de la cuisine et de plusieurs espaces pour se reposer et manger. L'espace commun avec l'autre location est très agréable et suffisament grand pour être chez soi. Nous remercions chaleureusement nos hôtes qui non seulement nous acceuillent avec bienvaillance mais ils sont également de bons conseils (les bons petits restos à proximité) et disponibles en cas de pépins comme se fut notre cas pour trouver les urgences. Bonus : ils parlent très bien français. Bref, nous recommandons vivement ce petit coin de paradis au pied de l'Etna, idéalement situé quand on veut découvrir la côte Est de la Sicile.

Petite oasis merveilleuse
Un accueil chaleureux et un endroit magnifique . Idéalement situé pour visiter Etna syracuse taormine Catane! Une famille discrète mais disponible si nécessaire. Nous conseilons vivement cette location!

Situation idéale
Très agréable logement permettant de visiter de Taormine à Syracuse sans oublier l’Etna . Piscine et salon extérieur très bien aménagé. Dans un petit village au calme. Propriétaires discrets et attentionnés.

Lovely place
It was a lovely place to stay. Good starting point for visiting the Etna, Taormina, Siracusa, Noto... Some problems with hot water in the shower but they immediately fixed it with a smile . The cooking area was outside so that gave us a camping feeling. Great place, but it must be warm and sunny to fully enjoy it.

Nous avons découvert la Sicile. La location est bien située pour découvrir toute la côte ionienne .
Nous étions 2 couples en vacances 10 jours en septembre . Location très propre , bcp d'espace à l'extérieur. Magnifique piscine avec vue sur l'Etna. La location comprend une chambre avec un lit double et une chambre avec lit superposé, une salle de bain avec WC. C'est suffisant pour 4 personnes parce que l'on passe l'essentiel du temps à l'extérieur. Giusepina et Horacio sont des gens charmants et très accueillants. Ils veillent à votre confort. Ils parlent très bien le français ce qui était vraiment agréable pour nous car notre niveau en italien est nul. Grand merci à Giusepina et Horacio, nous recommanderons cette location. casa molto curata e completa di tutto, proprietari simpatici e molto disponibili ci siamo spostati solo con i mezzi pubblici; è fattibile anche se un po' complicato, specie la sera e il fine settimana la posizione è strategica rispetto alla costa orientale sicula ( catania, taormina, acireale, ma anche siracusa) e all'interno ( etna e gole dell'alcantara), raccomandato!

Beautiful place to relax :)
We stayed in Villa Luna with a nice kitchen outside. The apartment was clean and comfortable. It is furnished with all necessary things. We had a great and relaxing time. Thank you for the nice days :)

superbe, très belle et chaleureuse maison !
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour de 15jours dans cette magnifique maison où nous avons rencontré une famille très accueillante, discrète et généreuse. Le cadre est superbe, vue sur le volcan depuis la piscine. Idéalement placée pour visiter tout l'est et le sud de la Sicile ... une fois que l'on s'est habitué à la conduite désordonnée des siciliens ! Adresse à recommander sans aucun problème.

Des vacances de rêve au pied de l'Etna
Difficile de s'imaginer qu'on puisse trouver cette havre de paix à cet endroit, et pourtant ca l'est. Giuseppina nous accueille dans 2 gites indépendants qu'elle a soigneusement décoré. Un patio commun permet de se reposer à l'abris du soleil. L'eau de la piscine est délicieuse et un plongeoir permet de sauter dans l'eau. Si vous voulez vous reposer tranquillement, vous disposez de tout une partie privative. 2 chambres, une sale de bain et une cuisine ouverte extérieure. Des places de parking en face de la maison. Un grand hypermarché à 2 km. L'Etna à moins de 20 km. Il ne faut rien de plus. Ha oui j'oubliais, Giuseppina parle plus que correctement le français, ce qui est loin d être négligeable. Merci pour tous. ;)

Great welcome and a very nice house : swimming pool, lots of cosy spaces to enjoy.

Location au pied de l'Etna de qualité proche des sites les plus beaux de Sicile. Taormine à une demie heure, 45 mn de l'Etna..... Logement très propre et fonctionnel pour 3 personnes. La décoration est faite avec gout et qualité. Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil de la part des propriétaires Gisella et d'Oracio qui nous ont bien conseillé pour visiter. Nous reviendrons hors saison.

Empfehlenswertes Urlaubsziel
Eine sehr schön und ruhig gelegene Wohnung und ein perfekter Ort um sich Aktivitäten jeglicher Art zu starten.Die Vermieter waren ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit, gastfreundlich und in ihrer diskreten und dennoch aufgeschlossenen Art eine absolut zu empfehlen de Adresse. Wir haben unseren Urlaub in Sizilien sehr genossen.

schönes Ambiente -freundliche Vermieter
Das Ambiente der Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und wohnlich und die Vermieter sind immer bemüht es dem Gast so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Man bekommt gute Tips für Ausflüge und Restaurants in der Umgebung. Das Areal um den grossen Pool mit Blick auf den Etna lädt zum relaxen ein.
