"The chap on reception (might be the manager) was very friendly and helpful. Although there are narrow corridors, the hotel overall is not grim, and "feels" pleasant. It is certainly clean, which for an old building with the usual plaster cracks is some achievement.
Getting a parking space is always a bit of a gamble that end of Aber. The public car park over the road at the back of the hotel is one we've used many times and never seen cars damaged or broken into.
