Charming property. It does have some stairs or a ladder to climb for a couple of the sleeping areas. Our host was very gracious and accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful. One of our party needed gluten free and our host made sure she had great tasting options. Wonderful place to stay.

Great stay! In a nature preserve area a near the beach. A rope swing that my kids loved! Delicious breakfast!

Great and cozy stay in the forest
We stayed a single night and wished we had booked more nights :). Lovely place with the forest in the backyard. Atmospheric, cozy and with very friendly and helpful staff.

Owner was nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good. It wasn't as quiet as expected as other rooms were occupied by families with 3 kids each. They caused a lot of noise in the afternoon in the playground in the backyard. So not sitting outside and have a quiet drink for us.

An absolute gem!
You can tell that the owners put their heart into the renovation of this beautiful old farm house. It is our favorite vacation home, and we travel a lot. The interior design is very tasteful, the apartment had everything we needed. It felt more like a home than a place to vacation. The terrace overlooking the huge garden and nature leading up to the beach was an extra bonus. There are picknick tables and a playground as well as socker goals for the kids. The beach is a short walk away. The apartment was very clean, well maintained and quiet. The owner is absolutely lovely and the homecooked breakfast including homemade rolls and pancakes as well as fruit from their garden was a highlight. She made sure to cater to any special wishes. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for having us!

Hyggeligt og autentisk

Stemningsfuld gård med imødekommende værter.
Vi besøgte Hørhavegården i forbindelse med et ridestævne på Vilhelmsborg. Det var super nemt at køre frem og tilbage til stævnepladsen, indkøbsmuligheder lige i nærheden samt tæt på Århus centrum, det er meget imødekommende værter og dejlig fredeligt med skøn natur lige udenfor døren.

Mit fremtidige overnatningssted i Århus
Et fantastisk hyggeligt og fredeligt sted i en smuk og nænsomt restaureret lejlighed. Det bliver nok mit fremtidige overnatningssted, når jeg er i Århus. Man skal være opmærksom på, at soveværelset ligger på 1. sal og toilet/bad i stueplan - i alt fald i den lejlighed, jeg boede i.

Dejligt sted i skønne og grønne omgivelser
Hørhavegården ligger skønt i naturomgivelser, tæt på Aarhus og alligevel i meget rolige omgivelser. Vi overnattede 3 personer i annekset 1 nat, men vi var gene blevet længere, da stedet virkelig indbyder til hygge og afslapning og samtidig er der gode muligheder for at både vandre, lege og bade i området. Kan varmt anbefales - vi kommer gerne igen :)

Super ophold på Hørhavegården
Dejlig beliggenhed og rigtig god morgenmad. Spørg til renoveringen af huset - det er for vildt hvad familien har gjort for at få huset til at se oprindeligt ud - og samtidigt have alt hvad vi forventer af et moderne hus.

Personlighed i smukke omgivelser
Meget personlig oplevelse at overnatte her. Historiens vingesus i smukke omgivelser! Rigtig hyggelig lejlighed, dejlig bruser og en god seng. Vi bestilte morgenmad, til en meget fair pris, som virkelig var meget varieret og lækkert med frisk bagte rundstykker og rigelig med pålæg og juice. Stedet er restaureret med respekt, og der er mange smukke detaljer - fra store fritlagte egebjælke til flotte håndklæde kroge! Værterne er meget venlige og service orienteret. Jeg har været i mange hoteller - denne her husker jeg! Ps. Dejlige lille terrasse udenfor!!
