Restricted to tourists until the late 1990s, Raa Atoll or North Maalhosmadulu, is made up of 90 isles, only 15 of which are inhabited. The islands are positioned around a series of round coral reefs and are bordered to the east and west by channels, creating unique conditions for diving.
