"Ot is a beautiful propperty with spacious and clean rooms. That being said, they need to train all the staff in customer service skills, polite etiquette and how to assist the guests with whatever they have questions about. Upon check-in (after 12 midnight), the older lady did not inform me of any basic services or rules of the hotel. "I woudo have given this property a 5 star rating except for some key factors. We arrived in the dark and the light in the hallway did not work, therefore we entered into a dark apt. There was a step down into the living room. 2 out of the 4 adults stumbled- 1 fell- almost landing into the stone hearth. A very dangerous situation. "A lot to enjoy here! Spacious, clean, with both indoor and outdoor pool (though be aware, not heated and VERY cold). But the mattress was easily the worst I've experienced at a hotel in years. Overall, very happy with service, this was what I expected it to be, lovely spot in the White Mountains. But a handful of extras could turn this into an incredible location instead of merely a fine one."
