"We stayed from the 11th-16th August and had a great time! The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful, particularly the receptionist who worked most mornings. We felt very safe. The pool is great and usually had sun loungers available. The shop is cheap and has good options. We booked full board which is actually soft all inclusive (alcohol with meals but not at the bar, all food, snacks and soft drinks included). The food was great, a good selection for everyone even fussy eaters, we loved...

"Had a very pleasant stay at the Alia Hotel which was only 100 metres from a lovely safe and quiet beach with great tavernas all along the promenade. They organised special dinner evenings such as a Greek and a seafood buffet which were excellent value for money. The staff were most helpful."

"Lovely spacious apartment. Did try to ask questions through the website but no response. Good location on the island. Lovely cooked food (large dishes) The maids did not clean up our coffee cups in the apartment which was annoying. Nice bar but could do with a bit more varied entertainment. Greek night was fun, could do with more nights like this. On a main road so really need a car to get about. Nice village nearby. Lovely clean pool and bar area. Overall very nice."

"The apartment was lovely with amazing views to the sea and the acropolis. We arrived a little early but we were invited to have a beer whilst we waited for our rooms to be cleaned. You are at the top of Lindos and so you need to be prepared to walk down into town which suited us because the views were amazing and you are an equal distance from both major beaches. "

"We only stayed at Eagles Nest for one night, to use it as a base for looking around Lindos. The hotel was clean and a really pleasant place to stay. Staff were excellent and in similar circumstances, we would stay there again."

"We picked this property because of its central location and the location was great. Just up the road from a lovely little supermarket and only 10mins walk to any of the beaches. The owner arranged our airport transfers and other than a slight hitch where the key was missing everything was very straightforward. The taxi takes you to the top of town and you have to make your own way the final bit as the streets are too narrow for cars – but it’s quite straight forward. The room- a split level...

"It’s a nice looking villa but the super loud air conditioners all around make it impossible to sleep or feel well. Don’t stay here. The owner is rude and only cares about getting paid. He feels the guests should tolerate extreme noise. He could easily install new AC units."

"The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home. On our way to the hotel our sat nav had a melt down, we rang the hotel for directions, despite it being late in the evening the owner came out on his motor bike found us and showed us the rest of the way. Our room was comfortable on the ground floor with a patio. "Das Appartment war groß, sauber und gemütlich. Der Service war sehr gut, extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der einzige Nachteil war, dass der Backofen Binz funktionierte, aber sonst hätte die Küche, alles was man braucht. Dazu war der Balkon sehr groß und der Fernseher hatte viele internationale Programm. Wirklich ein top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!"

"We stayed for two weeks as a family of four. Nicos at the pool bar, george at the main one, and anastasia who does so much to keep the hotel going, were all first class hosts The gardens, pool, and other facilities are first class! Despite the hotel being full, due to the amount of space in the gardens, it really did feel that you had lots of time, space, and shade to yourself. It’s on a main road, so the bus routes are very easy to access along with the beach which is about 15 minutes walk....
